I was thinking about special pictures galery on Multimedia site, but since noone was posting their art, I did not develope it...
Also I shall not open the whole forum section for arts... First of all forums are already huge, second, it is useless to have the whole section with zomg a lot of topics, and third - not everyone uses attach and not everyone even can add attach due to the size... That is why it will be total flood of downloaded pictures on all sizes...

You can start one topic, and everyone can post their art, if you want...

If you want all your pictures be in one place without attachment limits and with the normal galery of all Argonath art - I can open an art galery on Multimedia site with thumbnails, sections and categories...

Users shouldn't probably use the forum upload; we just want one "sub-section" (or whatever you call it), just like this:

- Argonath Forums
  -- Other
   -- Art

Just like "Off-topic" is an forum in "Other". I personally see no problem in this.

The forums in internet made for discussions... And not for posting goddman a lot of pictures... In internet world it is a bad tone for the creators of ANY site, if they let such topic be on FORUMS...

The thing you suggest is calling on internet web-design language - image-galery...
Image galery suppose to be on the web site and not on forums...

The top bar is bulky, and you should avoid forum-implemented modules for such features.

Yes, forums are made for dicussion, not limited to discussion of other people's art. Forums would be an perfect way to show of your skills, and one could reach more attention if there was a whole "forum" (in the sense I described what I want) for new and new topics.

Yes, i gotta stick with tuntis, you see these, rate the guy above you sig. It'll be a forum like that, but more of desktop pictures, art we have made ect. Unless you prefer us to flood the off topic area with these type of threads?

The kind of ideas i have are in-game cash awards to the best avatar, stuff like that. To make the forum more interwoven with the server in a fun artistic way!

Forums are for discussions... It is not a museum of paint...

We dont want a gallery, all we really want is a plave where we can show off our images to the community, and get them rated / share hints and tips. And to mainly discuss our work.
Using the forum attachments will only kill the server bandwidth faster. Its better just to paste  atext link, to another servers bandwidth (Imageshack or w/e) The gallery is cool, however, the house interiors are there. It doesnt have the same benefits of a sub section in the forums, eg quote reply, rate so on so forth.
