Indeed. Only putting them off wont help. You really need to remove them from your PC.

But I accidentaly clicked on the "GravMod" icon instead of the "Start" buttonwhen I came ingame an admin banned me for this.
Wich was a total misstake, since this was an accident.

Well let me tell you now what really happend, since my brother told me yesterday:
he unzipped the old gravmod and started to play on some servers. But when I came back he left it on and logged into Argonath with my nick, and set the grav-meter to "Very High Gravity".
