A MTAVC-Gangster's ManualFirst of all, I'd like every beginner and everyone who wants to start a gang to read this.
Alright. I've so hard tried to bring roleplay in the roleplaying game, but I can do it only by this way:
Being a Gangster. It has it's good sides: Something to do for lots of new ppl and also money for them,
all /me -RP that a drugrun is included to encourage the rest of the players to use their imagination...
but it's sometimes hard to make new players understand that even if you're a bodyguard you can't
shoot just when someone walks to the player being protected, and I can see new players also get
easily confused when they see another newbie deathmatching. I wrote this so everyone who starts
their own Gang/Mafia/Family will understand their responsibility.
1. Don't Recruit just anyone. Make sure the player knows the rules very well and doesn't go all crazy
when someone hits the same gang member. Even if it's hard to get high-skilled players, I recommend it.
2. Make sure the members have something to do in their new gang. They easily start deathmatching
when they're frustrated in boredom and their leader's inactivity. That is also mostly seen in gangs: a
guy forms a gang, spins it a while and then goes inactive. And there they are: Members of the gang all loose
and wild.
3. Never ask for large amounts of money from the gang members (to buy HQ's etc.) If you don't know
if you ever will be able to pay them back. Let's see - The leader takes every member's money and buys
something for himself - the money the members have worked their asses off to get, have been taken.
If the member leaves the gang, he will insist his/her money back and will the leader have money? No,
because all he/she has is the gang's common investment. Again: The player doesn't get his money
back - asks admins to help - they don't have the time at the very moment - the player
DEATHMATCHESK I hope that helps someone. That I wanna say one more time that THINK TWICE before forming again,
because it's hard work. I had my own gang that did well, until I played less and less and then they all
wanted to leave. I can honestly say that almost all of the things listed I have my personal experience of.
I will most likely never form my own gang again, cause it takes so much of my playtime. But if you wanna
be like me, remember you don't have to form a gang to be a gangster if you have the money - think about it
