Help me! Graphics card driver problems

I have this problem that just started recently.
Sometimes when i play a game. my monitor randomly black sreens itself. and then the green light turns orange. and when i try to put my monitor back on, my whole computer crashes. in couple of weeks my Ati radeon 9250 128mb drivers will be 3 years out of date.. ive tried installing new drivers for it many times. but when the installation is complete. it reads: You must restart your computer to make the driver work. so i restart it. but then when windows has started it seems like nothing happened. when i check my driver version ......... 2006......... so why doesnt my windows want to give me new drivers? (edit: Hmm seems like the driver ive been downloading is the same version i have all along.. 2006 version.. but i go to http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeon-prer300-xp.html and how comes all they offer is old 2006 drivers? where can i find new ones?


Also another problem with sa-mp ( sorry if this doesnt belong to this section ).
So everytime i start my computer. everything starts normally. but when i start SA:MP v0.2.X it automaticly starts some kind of server with no IP at all. only a port :7777. But if i close samp and then start it again the server wont come. only if ive started my computer and open up sa-mp.

Can someone please  :help: with these problems?

have you checked if the last driver is not from 2006?




If not... perhaps uninstall ALL drivers and then install last one... maybe it changes then

IF only i knew how to uninstall a damn graphics card driver! sorry if im so pissy but im so f**king angry cause my computer keeps crashing when i play sa cause i have to press my f**king computer button to restart windows -_-.......... i jsut got off sa-mp cause its so f**king annoying to play when your computer crashes every f**king 10 minutes

Now when i uninstalled the drivers and tried to install them again it said:    
1607: InstallShield Runtime installation does not succeed <-- something like that

I have the same graphics card but i didn't had that problem

With my system ill go to Control panel and add or remove programs, remove the drivers, restart comp, install em back, update, maybe it will work, if no then i guess reinstall windows or buy new graphics
