In MTA, you can just walk into a shop and begin work as the cahier/cook/chef/whatever. In SA:MP you actually have to own the buisness and then all the rest is done via commands. We had to roleplay out everything, from buying and selling drinks to working as a taxi firm. Everything was pre-planned and roleplayed out fully. I would say that even the newer MTA guys can roleplay better than most of the SA:MP guys. I'm deadly serious about that point.

Hello Legolas, everything you said above was quite true.



I've tried multiple times to do something different on Argo..
I mean, i've almost been a gangster or something close to that.
But everytime i tried to do something else, it failed.

Let me get this straight.
If we say, i'd try to be a hotdog-seller or a mechanic or something.
It'll last like 1 hour MAX, because no one would buy from me or let me deal with his carproblems.
The way i see it, it's three possibilities (GANGSTER, MAFIA, COP)
I've been here for almost one year and two months now and i remember the first day like yesterday.
Mechanics, gangs, hotdog-sellers, mafias, cops, taxis etc. all over the server.
Guys we're playing in every city: SF, LS, LV.
What happend?
You had so many possibilities back then, because everyone we're actually buying a hotdog, or let the mechanic deal with the carproblems. So instead of complain, try to bring back abit of the old style, when everyone tried to make argo a better place. It'll make you a better RPer to.
Instead of waiting for quiz, complaining or spamming mainchat, use your creativity to do something nice!

Good example that nobody really RP's...

MTA:SA Argonath server...

Beceause there are (almost) no commands (yet) a big part of the community doesn't even try to join / RP, All beceause there is no money to spend, No cars / Business to own, but believe it or not,

The roleplay i experienced on the MTA:SA server, is quite bigger than the 'OMFG L33T /AD Abuse" SA:MP Server..
The arrival of commands made a disadvantage instead of advantage..

I hope we could solve this once and for all by just Roleplay new jobs, but then still, No one will show up to your shop..

I doubt that any of these 'leet gangsta' RPers or Corleone Mafia 'Gods' would try RP'ing a gang/mafia in VC:MP on a serious way.

Why should I play on a Vice City server if I hate the game, story, characters, map & graphics?
Everyone who wants serious roleplay will find it if he simply sticks to his roleplay style, no need to change the server.
