I don't agree with a lot of points, mostly because I hate this so called "free" roleplay & prefer another style of roleplay.
I really don't give a f**k about houses, money, events like the Destruction Derby, all I am looking for is serious roleplay, but it is rare.

I mostly agree with your statement Car.
Agent isnt wrong, earlier we had less scripts..BUT we even RPed drugtrades without a script.
What happend now? I seriously dont know it...a lot of new players who think different? I dont know it.

In Addition to what you said Legolas:
Freecops - The easiest way to abuse scripts, mess up others fun and to make quick money to buy a cheated for house.
Events - Street racing has been posted on the forums, yeah okay so that makes it legal...it would seem that events are now considered OOC due to the fact that they have absolutely no role play, legal street racing - nonrp, legal destruction derby in a skateboard park - nonrp.
ARPD Trouble - Cop 'x' pulls over civil 'y' and he begins the roleplay, suddenly 500 freecops come and park near him to assist even after the cop has announced on the radio the code 4 (No Assistance required) you tell the freecop, code 4 cadet, and he carries on being annoying, eventually you pm him saying "Please Leave" and he does jack, then you take out your pistol, shoot the cop three times and wait for your ban when all you were trying to do..was have a nice roleplay.

I think I was a decent roleplayer, I enjoyed roleplays, anyway just my input.

Totally agree with you.

RP is a great thing, and we have many many things on the server to improve it. Specially now atm when the scripts are down, people start thinking more that how much all you developers and scripters and admins have done for us... hopefully.

But yes, for example yesterday I was RPing with another officer, I used proper language in the RP as usually etc... but then what? He answers lile: "O rly? xD :P :d". That seriously does kill your efforts to RP sometimes..

there are a lot of complaints about none RPing, but i think ppl blow it up too,
it looks like SA:MP doesnt got RP at all,
well it does, almost everything is RP,
maybe there are 100 cases,
99 are RP, you dont hear anyone about that
1 of the 100 is none RP, and everyone starts to complain about it.

and im 1 of the players who help new players,
certainly new cops, since im mostly on duty as ARPD Sergeant,
you can ask enough cops around here(also well known cops right now: Thomas aka jol_gekkebol, and Salmonella), that i do help them,
and also none cops get helped by me

so stop all that complaining about 1 time none RP(i agree it can be worse sometimes)
but dont make topics with OMG stupid none RPing noobs! omg wtf ban ban!!
watch the RP in the server, it isnt bad, from my side as a cop there is good RP with criminals,
and civillians

Carhartt, mayby you don't give a **** about DD or bizz etc etc. And yes i agree its rare to have a very good RP
As i said before, i never played MTAVC before and now i love it, good roleplay, less things to RP with, so it all depends on the players. But i do'nt mean by this that i like a server with less things in, i think MTA and SAMP are great, SAMP has alot of things you can do, and some people do'nt think its enough.. some say i'm bored etc etc, there is always something you can do, small thing and big things

Legolas, nice words about MTAVC and that still occurs to this Day people Open Shop Jobs, Transporting Business and Teach the newcomers how to play and earn a little Cash.  VCMP is exactly the same people might come and not know but there's always someone helping another player get to know the Ropes, like Nico said back up i've seen people shout at newcomers "OMG f**king Asshole Noob!!". How do you think that makes them feel? Not part of the server and no wonder newcomers sometimes turn to DM cause no one has told them it's RPG.


You want Roleplay so bad? Head to MTAVC or VC:MP.

Agreed. I can't RP in SA:MP the same way I can in MTA.

MTA was the first and the best. Nothing compared to the way people acted, roleplayed and talked there. There was hardly any flame, fights or fighting of any of the shooting sort. It was Bliss. To me SA:MP is that little boy who tried to grow up and be just like his daddy , but just didn't have the commitment.
