So who's a roleplayer?

Ofcourse everyone agrees with Legolas, he is an administrator for christ's sake!
All that roleplay in SA:MP lacks, in my opinion, is imagination and fun, especially in the "mafia" roleplay.

There always will be those "1337 roleplayers" who would go around and whine that roleplay is poor and is dying, instead of trying to do something about it. Just remember to have fun, that's what it's all about...

What about comparing someone who can play only one role good and someone who can roleplay, eg. eight roles in the same level?
Then who will be the better roleplayer - the one who can play only one role or the one who can play pretty much anything?

What about me, I roleplay like "gangsta" 24/7 or whatever, I did some cuban roleplay for a bit, but I cannot stand been some mafia guy, what if I dislike roleplaying a mafia role, but I RP a "gangsta" roll very well? Also, there are MANY MANY different moods which your character can have so his mood can change etc, this doesn't mean I'm a shitty roleplayer, you can roleplay a gangsta character, then another gangsta character and be in a completely different mood, digging deep inside the minds of your style, my style is different to yours, doesn't mean your better.

I don't agree with a lot of points, mostly because I hate this so called "free" roleplay & prefer another style of roleplay.
I really don't give a f**k about houses, money, events like the Destruction Derby, all I am looking for is serious roleplay, but it is rare.

One up. Me an Hayden probably started all this shit off about "real roleplay" and that. Thing is theres no point discussing it because there is always gonna be 2 sides. You'll either have the "Hardcores" and the "Freeplayers" if you get what I mean, as I would put myself in the Hardcore range, there is no real point making topics about how argonath's people should change, I made a topic about what I thought would be good, everyone shat on it and it became all shitty with stains on it, which ain't good. All the main admins and developers would put themselves in the "Freeplayers" range as they mainly do admin work and will not roleplay to their fullest because of there side-job. Theres no point trying anymore the whole developer team will go against everything Hardcore, So no one can win, so everybody should just roleplay how they want and move the f**k on, thanks for listening.

The sad fact is the majority are motivated by money, most 'RP Jobs' will earn you f all money.

Another thing is most people ignore being involved in 'RP Jobs' because, as mentioned before, people dont want to spend money on things that 'dont exist'  thats why the RP jobs get f all money because they have to set the prices below $99 in order to get a sale (believe me ive been in that situation MANY times as a pizzaboy etc)

The sad soloution to this problem? Some forms of 'RP Jobs' need to be scripted so minimum interaction with other players is required. As most players arnt prepared to give away money for no cuase, we needa script jobs like say, a Trashmaster driver, who has to go through a series of checkpoints, such as going to and from a 'treatment facility' to different communities such as Ganton etc. The server will then pay them a certain amount of money. I know people will be against that btw.

Another thing which kinda worked a while back was that San Fierro was the 'RP city' where roleplayers went. Maybe we could get a good few RPers, go to Palomino Creek or whatever and RP as country folk, then other people may follow

I remember my first months...

i bought a caravan in flint county about 2 months after playing...

I made roleplay out of it, i roleplayed with Zun he was my "neighbour" and we had fun, and then i got a bit more money, moved into a bigger house and it was boring...

And the people who moan about people not roleplaying.. 75% of these people dont roleplay themselves, its just somthing to moan about.
