It didint let me boot DVD on 64 bit....
Didint let me run it either so i downloaded 32 bit and it ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Windows 7 is still on beta, meaning it's not even officially out, hence you can't call it stable, yet.
When Windows 7 comes out "for real" I don't see a problem in getting it.

You cannot upgrade from XP to Windows 7.
Top upgrade, you need Vista SP1, else you need to install it to other partition or format your HDD.

Damn, Windows 7 rocks lot!
Now i got access to Windows XP drive, i don't wanna return to XP anymore...

I got my CS working but... i cant get GTA IV working cause i cant modify Manifests. Can anyone help?

oh damn, now i am back on Windows XP!
Now internet problems started, restart didn't help, so now XP works without problems.

I would reccomend you buy a new PC when Windows 7 fully comes out, with Win 7 Pre-Installed, I'm going to do it.

Also understand that Windows 7 Beta wasen't made to test games, So if games don't work, don't worry, they will properly fix it all in the full release.

I have installed Windows 7 on Virtual PC, its alright, but lags a bit since I only have 1GB of ram, but otherwise, Its looks nice.

I want to install windows 7, I want to know how and what I need.

I only have one Harddrive and Windows Vista SP1 is installed on it. I would like to take off 50gb of the HDD and use it for windows 7, how do I do that?

And how do I do dual boot?



Is the beta forever free? Or only free till the real version is out?
