need help with mobile phone very fast!

hello people.

i wish u can help me verry fast with my mobile phone, this is my problem:
on my mobile phone i got 1 megabyte, i bought an memory card of 1 gigabyte,
and when someone sends me a file of 2 megabyte it says: failed, because i dont got enough space,
is there any way to send the file to the memory of my card? or whatever?

No because you've bought a 1 MB one and your trying to put 2 MB on

Or, if MMC is 1GB for sure, files defaultly saves to phone memory - 1MB.. try to save them at memory card.

yes i think this is what i need, but how do i save them to memory card? how can that person send the file to memory card and not the 1mb of phone?

Try reading the book that came with the phone. It doesn't hold all the information you need but it may say in there.

If not just browse through your settings and see if there is anything about storage.

somewhere in the phone settings.. look for "storage" or "memory" there will be a setting to change default memory to Memory card. since the default is set to Phone memory...

Well you need to change where you save your files.

Go to Messaging- Go to options- Settings- Navigate down and click on "Other" then under "Memory in use" Change it to your memory card and click ok to save.

Thats for a n95 but since yours a series 40 I guess it should be about the same

I would like to know too, how to make phone saving directly to Memory Card.
I receive lot of files from friends over Bluetooth.
I use 1GB memory card, Nokia 3110 classic.
