Because the United States has the most superior military the world has ever known. 

I think china have an equal (if not better) military all round as the USA. In my opinion china is probably the only remaining superpower that would be able to defeat america in a war. Not that i would want a war to happen, just stating what i think. I do agree however that obama is currently the most powerful person in the world, but that's down to so many factors, not all to do with military...

I would state what i think about bush, but some people might get angry...
