I think you may be known and popular and not even know it.... Just because people dont say "hi" when you walk in doesnt mean you arent popular. I got friends who would RP or hang out with me. And I met them all in RP style.

I have done all that with my "2007" year on Argonath, you guys may forget I was around before ALS, Dragons,Corleone came to SA:MP. I was once a lvl 1 admin, I been banned about 4 times for flame..but I learned from that..after all who wants to become a Olari?

And then I screwed your gang over like 5 times....


Admin doesn't really make you popular, I personally was one of the most hated main admins/clan and groups "developer" in the server....

I did a lot of things to become known in Argonath:

I started off as a DMer, rammer and carjacker...then went to become a decent player. I joined ARPD and earned some respect from it (and money). I then decided to host events and ended up becoming one of the biggest event hosters that the server has known (fact). It was me who created the mass-gambling idea which went on for so long and attracted a lot of people to the /dice command...

I was in ALS for a while where I learned some pretty amazing roleplaying techniques...it was a fun group!

After this I set up the Secret Service...which failed. I then created the Zaibatsu Corporation with Razor...then set it up after it failed...again and again.

At the moment I might set it up again because people liked it...obviously I made some sort of impression!

I am very well known at the moment...but popular? Hell no...most people hate me!

I never flame players and I try to be friends with them all...but I always make stupid mistakes which cost me a lot of things, mainly friendships with players...

As for being an admin, it had virtually nothing to do with being known or with my popularity. This is because I became well known mostly from my group work and from events...and I'm not exactly popular, so administration had nothing to do with that!

I became popular with showing my good roleplay skills and helping players.
Even thought it was Carhartt and Aragorn who tought me how to roleplay, how could you be a bad roleplayer with such good teachers...
