Thanks for the positive attitudes in this topic , Obviously there will be some conflict but keep it on the down low.

There should DEFINATLY be some sort of political system, since I think most of the people agree, and I think there should be some political parties which if they win, will have someone to step in as president/mayor for them.

I dunno I think Gandy should be prez, but perhaps voting for high politic positions such as bla bla head of national security or w/e... I'm pretty sure there's allot of those.

Secretory of Defense: Unknown

ARPD Command: CBFasi
ARPD 2nd commander:Hank Ratterty
ARPD 3rd Commander: James Hunter

Governor of  San Fiero: Unknown
Governor of Las Venturas: Unknown

We would need HQ offices for each elected member as well, Goveners would have power to change some laws, such as speed limits. Could impose taxes ect.

The ARPD has nothing to do with the political system, keep that out of it. They have their own ranking system, the political forces cannot force ARPD to change that..

Gandalf.. what does he do as a President, we all like him.. but he doesn't really have time to be a president.. niether does Aragorn. Which is why it should come down to us, to manage these issues.

When I say elections, I mean something like.. a topic on the forums with a campaign, going ingame winning votes, then when it is time, a voting ceremony, and then the inauguration.

We should create a big topic for this, if we can get the approvals from Gandalf or Aragorn that is.


I think Zaibatsu Corp. would approve of this idea, and so would all the people who want CHANGE, and what a perfect time to get this out with RS4 betas release.

Change;

- More realistic roleplay, actually try and roleplay a damn situation and not be a 'hero' when you have a gun pointed to you.
- The chance to run for Government, not the 'Owners' that choose Mayors, its total crap IMO.
- Peoples attitudes ingame, you need to chill out.
- Be helpful to new players, treat them like you would like to be treated if YOU were new, and not just ignore them like they dont exist.
- More possibilities for criminals, EG: Arms dealing, wider range of narcotics.
- People being LESS moneyhungry, I mean what has the server turned into.
- Medics to have their own PROPER radio, just like cops do.
- Admins to not think that they are better than some players, which does happen.

Thats all for me now, I hope some of what I say is put into some thought.

Different Governments for Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas. Toll booths at entry to every city, toll fee set by City government.

Turn each city into a STATE its self not a city.
Make a prison, like if someone commits mass murder and gives up, take them to the prison and jail them there for like 20 mins.
TAX system.
Finance department. (welfare)
Sevret Service. (works with FBI to protect governments)
Weapon dealing.
More drugs like Cocaine, Crack, Ice, ect.
a command to give a selected ammount of drugs to a player. (to stop flood kick)

If the idea is passed, the presidential thing will all be in character, so if someone is president it doesn't mean they get a cool rank or anything, its just for the sake of fun and roleplay mixed together.

I think this would be a good starting point, it gives many opportunities for many players. Think of all the roleplay opportunities linked with a presidential idea, you would get lots of political conflict, assassination plots, supporters and get much more roleplay out of the idea.
