It's NO glitch, it's on most of the GTA Games..

It's a realism thing added by Rockstar.. They did because as you lean down in real life on a bike and move there is less air resistance effecting you therefore you are able to go faster as there is less particles stopping you. Less air resistance effects you because you are making the bike more stream lined.

I've seen both regular players and admins use this when using a bike, so I see no reason why this shouldn't be allowed. Also it's useful for cops (including myself) who are using the shitty police motorbikes that are extremely slow to chase down suspects using cars or other bikes that are really fast.

I have a scooter (what I got accident with yesterday ^^), it goes faster when I leans forward.
As u evade a part of the wind, so u can speed up.

So this is not bug or sum, something of the less realistic in GTA:SA

I remember that using that "trick" when wanted has been disallowed and punished strictly on the MTA:VC server (rule that I've heard before the SAMP server was started). It's not made up, but it's an old (and a bit forgotten) rule.

Works the same in VC as in SA. Leaning forward in the right angle (or tapping to hold it) makes your bike go much faster. IMHO it should be forbidden, since cops have to search for fast cars and additionally spend money on nitro to be able to keep up with the runner. Also, it's almost impossible to knock someone off a bike in SA.

The cops can do the same with their bikes.
You can't catch a suspect? Build a team, set up roadblocks, pop the tires of the bike and geht him down with teamwork, or simply give up.
