There is several techniques for bikes that increases speed. One of the techniques is called RAD, which is pretty much the one described in this topic, except it's a hell lot faster. 

Also, calling 300 km/h on a PCJ something that's unlikely is wrong. I could, on request, make a video from the ArgonathRPG server to show that speeds over 320 isn't a problem if you know what you are doing.

However,

I admit that it gives an advantage for bikes against cars, but it's not that "unnatural" if you think about it.

When you lean forward many times very fast, called "tapping", the character seem to crouch on the bike, which any person could understand would reduce the speeddecreasement from the airblow.

This is a glitch/bug/technique that Rockstar Games did, so in my point of view, if should be allowed. Bikes are only good straight forward or offroad, and since you can bail with them with just a tiny ram, they are not that good for escaping with, unless you are skilled.


I came to Argonath from GTAStunting, which you can hear from the name is a stunting community. Bikes are common used in stunting, and without these kinds of methods, bike stunting would get lamed.

So, my conclusion is, if this not is allowed already, allow it. If you use it for evading the cops - fine. Cops already has advantage over criminals, so a rule against this would make the difference even bigger.

It is not a glitch... Its more of a real aspect of the game. Criminals can do it, so can cops. Its just another advantage of being on a bike instead in a car.

That's what I ALWAYS do when riding a bike...since when was there a rule against it? It was from single player and is not just in San Andreas! It's in Vice City too...and real life!

I think one of Aragorn or Gandalf should reply to this. Some admins think its allowed and actually do it themselves, so if it is a glitch then they are cheating. And some admins think its dis allowed, and if they are wrong well then.... I think we all want a final word on the issue.

NOS inscreases acceleration a bit, but it can decrease if you have a shitty PC because NOS will give quite some lag..
