My mic is great, but its not what i want.. HELP

Hello guys, i just got a new Headset + mic. But the mic only records sound from the background, Example: i listen music on youtube.. mic records it.. BUT IT DOESN'T RECORD MY VOICE.

only the background ON the computer, how can i make it record voice? help plz

ehh... maybe your mic isnt calibrated or set correctly, what i think is that your recording is the Line Out from the PC but the mic is maybe muted

Maybe try putting microphone on,instead of "What U Hear"? I had the same LOL.
