For a moment there I thought this was an international server. Whop what was I thinking.

For a moment here I thought that people would be smart enough to understand that these topics are made for a group and not to blatter around in other languages, throwing around useless videos, oh how stupid must I have been.

No point of discussing anything with Argonath leadership, no matter how much you are right they never accept their own mistakes.

I have no issue in accepting a mistake and correcting it if I make one, these rules were set up by me and me only. I had submitted them to the staff of this board and no one seemed to have an issue as they're just an upgrade of the current Argonath rules, take it or leave it but if you want to throw around videos make a topic else-where where you can do this. This topic is here for Gvardia, to promote the group and show their role-play situations, and to achieve higher standards, by speaking in other languages or throwing around music videos that have nothing to do with the family I don't see how that can be done.

This was my last post here about the subject, just wanted to make that clear.

How can you judge if a video that we post is stupid or not? Based on your personal taste or opinion?

Or that is in relevance with Gvardia or not? You gotta be part of Gvardia to know is some song that we post is in relevance to Gvardia or not.

As for foregn languages, if you go back 400 pages of our topic, the only foregn language usage you will find on our topic, is when congratulating orthodox christmass to each other, which can't be done in english, and i think that's just fine and shouldnt go under the rule, specially because it usual goes with an english translation and shit.

In case you're not fine with it, you're breaching our religion rights,which goes beyond server rules, under laws against discrimination, also let me remind you that the owner of this server is a orthodox christan as well, who has used the same congratulating message around the forums many times.

We gonna stick to the rules, but if a song we were all listening during a roleplay gets posted here, and we'll point out its relevance if needed, but its gonna stick here cause its in a huge relevance to Gvardia and its roleplay, and I expect you to consider that, not just go on a removing spread without knowing the reasons something was posted.

I can judge if a video is useless if it is 'useless' or stupid as you would like to describe it if it is just posted without any context around it. If you just post a video of a man singing in Albanian, without context or pictures, I class it as useless. This topic is about Gvardia, not about a man singing in a foreign language, or even in English. The main purpose of this is to guide topics towards what the topics are made for, either Gvardia, Luciano, Scotto, Watson, etc. About 70 per cent of the topics are about things that are not related to the group. Like I explained another player on the forums yesterday. If you would like to have a video with your pictures, feel free to add it as the first item in the spoiler, and the pictures below there. That way it is understandable that the video is related to the pictures below, and as you said if you listen to a song in your role-play, snap some pictures, post them in a spoiler and add the video above it, no issue. As then it is related, the video/ song is related to your role-play. Just posting a random video without any context will get it removed. And if it happens rather often, the group will get a warning. The warning system will be explained more in depth shortly.
If you want to congratulate some one with something, there's several boards on the forums you can do that at, if you wish to congratulate someone with their birthday, Christmas, or other items related to their religion, feel free to do so in private or in the speaker box, or life-style section. But not in the groups and families topics.

98 percent of people I want to congratulate something like that only comes to check this topic.

This is a topic about Gvardia, and what is Gvardia? Its the members who interact with each others, game related and non game realted.
I don't understand why are you putting this restrictions that are useless and counter-productive, just so you can fofiled some formality,on a already mostly inactive groups topics? I tought those days are over, but that's your call. Isn't it better if topics are full of beautiful pictures and nice videos? it sure looks better then 80 percent of things people write on this forums.

I'm just pointing out that 'Gvardia relevance' isn't just the 'things directly connected to the group in game', yet its a sub-culture, a family that aren't  just limited in sharing/talking/interacting to game related things yet everything they share in comon as a subject, and Im sure its the same with other groups.

PS- One more thing, when we congratulate orthodox christmass here, or bayram, or bar mitzva, its because those are the religions of Gvardia, Gvardia as a Family celebrates those holidays, its not our invidual holidays yet Gvardia's holidays.

You shouldn't care about videos we post here. As well as you shouldn't mind us using foreign languages as long as proper translation is enclosed.

You have the freedom to exchange things that are positive and that does include any kind of video.
As for foreign languanges please keep it to a minimum. The object is that everyone can participate and by using a lot of foreign language you exclude people from the discussion. And de not expect that management will not notice things that are prohibited in foreign language, especially the Slavic ones that are very close related

While a group is essentially a roleplay topic, most succesful groups have crossed the line between a roleplay group and a clan.
That should be encouraged instead of limited.
The group topic can be used for anything members wish to exchange, and should not be a form of forum roleplay.
What is never going to be allowed are provocations of any kind or other behaviour that we disallow outside the group topics.

We do not pay for bandwitch, and while at times the performance may suffer from large videos and pictures they on the other hand contribute a lot to a free and positive atmosphere.

I'm not liking the spoiler rule either. Pictures look much nicer when you're going through the topic and you see them in a long row; spoiler kinda ruins it. Since bandwidth is not a problem, this rule should also be removed.
