'It's a boy, it's a boy!' - screamed Kiril, tightly gripping the arm of his beloved wife Masha. It was indeed the father of the newborn child. Both with smiles on their faces, sweat dripping down their foreheads, hearts pumping, they gazed into the eyes of the new born life that they together created. The boy had been crying, screaming, yet his family still kept cheering. Feasts were to be made, parties to be organized, on that day, Nikolai was born.

13/03/2001 - KAZAN, RUSSIA
15 years later, Nikolai steps into the dark world, nourished by his father Kiril, a member of the Russian Mafia Syndicate, he gives upon the laws of the streets. His father's goal was to raise a soldier, a man that could replace him the day he would die, someone to take care of his wife(Nikolai's mother), his house, his belongings. The mafia had connections throughout the whole country, controlling every business, every crime-related groups, every bank. Luckily, Nikolai had been raised by a Brigadier in the Братва, leaning him towards quicker authority once enlisted among the others. Nikolai had been throwing knives, pick-pocketing people, beating up kids since the day he took his first step into this world. It was time he had seen the bigger picture.

Kiril had taken Nikolai to a poker game, a activity that was very famous among the Russians that would consist of drinking, playing cards and laughing about shit jokes. It was a first in Nikolai's world, yet it seemed interesting for him, he got the vibe of it and slowly but surely started to accommodate himself within this so called 'new-chapter' of his life.

23/09/2004 - MOSCOW, RUSSIA
Nikolai wakes up, everything is dark, there are no windows, it's very hard to breathe inside, the air smells like бензин, he wonders where he is. A light flicks in the middle of the room. He's in between four walls, tied up to a chair, a piece of cloth in his mouth and the only thing he sees is a steel plated door in front of him with bars across the small opening that would classify as a 'window'. He hears footsteps banging closer and closer towards the door, suddenly, they open. Inside steps a man with burn marks on his hands, scars across his eyes and a weak grin on his face. He takes a look at Nikolai, approaches him and swings his hand across Nikolai's face, shattering blood out of his mouth. Nikolai starts moaning, he's hurt, he doesn't know what's going on, what should he do, yet he decides to stay calm and pray for the best. The man leaves the room as he turns off the light behind him, seconds later, Kiril(Nikolai's father) steps inside the room, holding a Makarov(gun). Kiril immediately cuts the rope tying Nikolai's hands and points at a room across that would have clothes on the shelves. Nikolai's then sent out on a mission, a memeber of the Chechen organization had unveiled vital business information to the FSB that would compromise the syndicate's plans. He was told to 'take care of him' as a sign that the bratva is not to be fucked with. Nikolai's then taken to a underground club, a small space inside the storage unit where there would be a chair and a tattooing machine next to it.
