ARPD

Hello All Citizens,
I was thinking that it would be a good idea to merge the ARPD site + Forum with the Argonath RPG site + Forum.
They could be connected by tabs etc.
Wouldn't it be simpler if they shared the same username & password as they are two sister sites in general terms.

I think you misunderstood what he meant. If you misunderstood, you don't really have to post...

~Legend~ here meant that Argonath RPG and ARPD websites should be merged together, separated by a single tab click and not diffrent domains. That concerns both ARPD and Argonath RPG and I am quite sure that it could be done only by the main developers (Aragorn and Gandalf), so this is exactly the proper place.

I love the idea, ~Legend~, I hope they both merge under the same domain, the arpd site runs really slow for me, where as this forum runs very quickly

As we all know, we sometimes have some problems with the Argonath site and forums by some database errors. But at that moment, ARPD Site still works, so we could use it as a backup for Argo server.
If we'd use the same domain, then both sites would be down.
I Think a good idea for it is to put next to "Forum" tab at the main site also put "ARPD Forum" next to it.

Aye. Argo site still get the error sometime, but ARPD site never gets it.
I say we leave it like it is now until the devs fix the error problem.

Argonath Police Department (ARPD) is an Group like others on Argonath like gangs, mafias and Clans. Should we connect all Groups to the main site? No. I dont think thats needed at all..

Unneeded waste of effort really, concentrate on RS4 and get that banged out, it's all we need really. Cudos for attempting to improve the community though  :idea:

It's not at all a problem Jay, and I have organised it to be put into the ARPD forums as well.
Yes, and what some people have been saying about linking up all groups that have bases in Argonath is a bad idea so same applies to ARPD etc.
You see, most of the other groups are run by people that have no ownership etc. in Argonath. They have nothing to do with Argonath except they play on it. For example, Rockstar doesn't put down all the names of the players that play on GTA IV. They have nothing to do with Rockstar, they just buy their products etc.
But, ARPD is part of Argonath, hence it's name itself "Argonath RPG Police Department". At the moment, they seem like completely different sites, although it's layout is pretty much the same as Argoanth's. You need a different login each time you go into either of these 2 sites. It's more of a bother than it should be!

ALSO, guys, you know to join the Argonath Forums and the ARGONATH RPG main site, you need different logins again.
Wouldn't it make more sense if these were combined by one login?
At the moment, we need 3 logins for pretty much the same sites; 1 for Argonath RPG Main Site, 1 for Argonath RPG Forums and 1 for ARPD. Are all these logins really needed? Wouldn't it be much simpler to have a common login for all?

Never knew, as i never had diffirent logins to made. On both forums i use the same logins + on ARPD Main, when you're logged in, also shows up alert that someone PMed you.
