There was another topic, but it is ridiculously full of spoilers.

When I bought this, I just wanted something to do. However, it quickly became one of the best games I've ever played and I have played a lot of games.
It seemed to me completely superior to GTA IV in almost every way, apart from driving (which GTA admittedly does better). The story is a lot more interesting, I actually cared about the characters (not like in GTA, when I don't give a crap about Roman or whatever). Not to mention the fact that it is infinitely better when on foot than any other third person shooter I've played. Plus, you don't have to play as some boring ass Serb with an uninteresting backstory.

If you haven't got this game, and you like having fun. Buy this. NAO.

Framerate is a pretty big problem on PC, mind.

I loved SR1, I could not stop playing it, was such a fun game.. The bit that was the best was the fact your 'homies' actually could pull of a kill, unlike GTA SA.

SR2 I have got, but haven't had the time to fully sit down and play, I want to, and will get around to it, but just haven't had the time. But, from first impressions, great game, good new weapons, dual wield, cool new gangs, great.

Ok i got Saints row 2 and all i can say is except the controls suck, its a pretty cool game

Well, I don't know about that, sometimes it's good to have a challenge, it's a good reward for when you actually complete it.

I loved this game. The amount of customization was awesome. Also the weapons/cars were good and the story was compelling. I loved the Triads Bikes, (they wernt called triads but i ant remember) lol

Thats pretty much why this is better than GTA4 in a nutshell.
Combat is better, customization is far better, and the story is better.

True that, would be almost perfect if the driving physics were San Andreas quality.

As far as I know, you can play with your local friends via same machine, or maybe even online. I think you can do that actually.

Saints Row 2 was and IS a fabulous game. A strong 10/10, the character customization is the best in my opinion.
I HAD it on Xbox 360, but then it mysteriously disappeared. Anyway, I'm always Snoop Dog, I love the cheeks and all.
