[FIXED] Sa-mp probs (THIS IS ONLY ARGONATH PROBLEM!

Hey all i came to try out RS 4.0 and i downloaded new sa-mp and installed, my favorites showed, name and i clicked, join server and nothin happens, i clicked again and nothing happens not even SA starts,

ONCE AGAIN:
If your GTA SA doesnt start or crashes, first thing to try is delete the gta-sa.set in GTA San Andreas User Files in My Documents

Delete gta_sa.set , if that ain't working, re-install GTA, i think the EXE got corrupted.

If so:

Right click your SA:MP.exe file go onto properties. Then go onto the compatibility tab and change it to run in compatibility mode to Windows 2000 (I think..) - Do the same for your GTA-SA.exe file.

If it doesn't work with Windows 2000, try Windows 95 if not that, then try Windows Server 2003(I think it's called that).

That should fix it.

I got vista SP 1 and i reinstalled and installed the 0.2X update 1 client and i changed the compatibily and this popped up

i connected to a random server in internet, but of course argonath doesnt work

Okay now i reconnected router and restarted, restarted router and reconnected from PC and reinstalled to sa-mp 0.2.x cuz i was using the newest one and not even single one works, yea be smart now

I HAVE SAME PROBLEM I REINSTALLED GTA SA TOO.. IM RUNNING WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE PLEASE HELP!!!

Make sure you don't have any cheats/mods and remove d3d9.dll from your GTA San Andreas folder if you have it.

and those numbers its an error in your server.cfg file. Check the server_log.txt and the reason should be printed out or in the crashinfo.txt file then google it

I also get this error, in on WIndows 7 Ultimate 32Bit Retail Edition... ive got a completely clean copy on GTA and SAMP and i get this

tried all that, i even reinstalled GTA SA 5 times!!! PLEASE help i need to get on to help my clan members!!!  PS: i have Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit Retail Edition, on my 1 week old laptop, if that helps any....

Win 7 is not fucked up like Vista

deleting d3d9.dll or gta_sa.set was a solution ????

maybe GTA SA is incompatible with Win 7 in a way ?????

try going right click on gta_sa.exe -------->Compatibillity ------> Windows 2000 or Windows 98/Me

NO NO NO....gta sa is 100% compatible without using compatibility heck even GTA 3 works without compatibility in Windows 7!

btw, i fixed it!

turns out when i was in game and changin my houses name i accidently put ~r to make the name red and i forgot to type ~r~ and so the admin told me that causes you to chrash right when u log in, so he just added the extra ~ and fixed it! thank you admin: [WS]Wayne
