There been plenty of topics in the couple weeks that players are having problem that SA or SAMP doesnt start.

BEFORE creating a topic check these things:

1. Delete the gta-sa.set in GTA San Andreas User Files, located in My Documents.

2. Check if your San Andreas is version 1.0 or downgraded to it, SAMP wont work without 1.0 version.

3. If none of these worked, Re-install the game and downgrade if needed, and see if its works.

4. Make sure you dont have any mods, most of them will not work with SAMP or Argonath server.

5. If using Vista - Make sure you run it as administrator

Thank you for your time.

Tried the downgrade and doesnt work, said unknown version, in the error log in my topic there was at the end US v1.0 so the version is 1.0, mods, i reinstalled today, tried to delete the .set file, in fact i deleted all in the folder (removed to temp folder) and this doesnt work, you got some probs in your new scripts or something cuz i have vista and its not supported ? :S ? or idk. I wanted to go online with my friend today but this shit pops up, i hope it will get fixed. Also you can check my topic, i posted the error and a screenshot.

If you have vista, press the SAMP and Gta-sa.exe and set the compilaty mode to Windows XP SP2 or Windows 98.
