I had a ATI card ones... doesn't support my videocard for a along time.. damn piece of shit..

I had 2 Nvidia cards (6200 and 8400), and these are still one of my favourite's, because I never had problems with it with ANY program.. while I had sometimes with the ATI.

i had a ATI, it ended up burning from overheating  -.- the heatsync fan stopped working after 1,5years.. i had even cleaned it every month but it still broke 

-.-  never again will i waste money on ATI

ATi Always ends up overheating and costing more and more money to replace.
Not to mention crossfire is shit, and ATI isnt widely supported on motherboards as much as Nvidia is.
So plain and simpole, Nvidia is better

If you want to play games like Call of Duty, 9500GT will be fine.

If you want to play games like Crysis, or just want a good investment that will be able play future games that will require a good GPU, then go for the 9600GT.

Check some reviews on YouTube on the card you want before buying.

I'm going to get the 9800GT because I'm probably going to have my new PC for a while.

It's all down to personal preference.

NVIDIA / ATI. It doesn't really matter which brand, both have good video cards that perform well and bad ones that have bugs or overheat, I use both, people just support NVIDIA like a football team. It's like comparing a Peugeot 107 to a Citroen C1.

Also, to all nVidia or ATI haters. Without either ATI or nVidia, one of the companies has no competition, meaning they can put the prices as high as they want to.
So be glad that there are atleast 2 major graphic card makers, or else we would end up paying thousands of dollars/euro's for a card.

no youre gone off the tracks there,, if there was no ATI which are shit,,, NVIDIA would be cheaper because would have more sales and no need to fight with other new technology from other companies eventhough ATI cant make 1 card that doesnt have flaws...
