http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandemic_Severity_Index

At the chart, the normal seasonal flu is ranked at #1 (mild), while the Spanish Flu of 1918 and the current Swine Flu ranks at #5, the severest. It shows the CFR (Case-Fatality Ratio).

Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

Meh.
If it's not painfull death, than no worries for me.
And mutations.
Well, I say to hell with death, I want to live and grow old with my kids. I ain't going for no f**king flu. Neither is my friends nor family. I care.

People are too paranoid. It will kill you? f**k it, it will. And not you, and not me, but us. All those who are scared of this just waste the only time they have. Go to the f**king mall, enjoy the rest of it, if its gonna kill. People die every day cause of random shit, and all the world is like "Oh my god!" of this stupid flu, cause some Mexicans created this. Bullshit. This thing scares people so bad, no wonder the news use it. Your fear feeds them. Get used to it. Life is not fair, sometimes, you want to kill it, by killing yourself, but if you're here, and not an alien, live with this crap.
Yeah, think if everyone thought this way. Just; "Millions of people may die. But f**k it! Who cares! Let's not try to develop a vaccine and waste our time. Let's smoke pot!" ....

Its been blown up by the media to fill air-time. If I were you, I wouldnt worry about it.

They made this much fuss about  Bird Flu, and that wasnt even catchable by Humans.

Even though they claimed it killed people ...

Now anyone who dies of flu-related illness will be labeled a "Swine Flu Victim"

Its all b*llshit

Reminds me of Pandemic, a game where you evelop yourself as a virus, and try to kill the poeple of earth in 200 days.

The Swedish goverment no longer calls it the Swine Flue, since you don't get it from eating pork and pigs don't "catch" it. Instead they wish to call it the "new flue". [sarcasm]That's very creative[/sarcasm] , but hey.

Was reading today that most people who catch it recover without much medical assistance. The 2 people from Glasgow were sent home today, so they are well enough to be home but are still being kept under quarantine.

GOOD NEWS

As the summer season comes around, the flu virus should fizzle down, since viruses cannot reproduce or survive in such warm temperatures.

It was reported that the swine flu in countrys outside of Mexico seem to look more like seasonal flu. In mexico the symptoms came on faster and more severe. One other thing is that the severeity you shouldnt worry about, people could get a mild cases and have their bad days and finally get over it. But alot of people can get it.... however it doesnt mean they will die. So this "70 million people will die!" seems to be BS.

Since I've been to Mexico, I know it's hot. And, bad news. I'm displaying some symptoms.  Runny nose, sometimes nostril gets clogged, fatigue, and I feel really warm at times.

--------------------------------
EDIT

By saying that I've been there, I meant 4 years ago.

Its time to grow up guys and stop spreading shit daily.
