We passed semi-final and we had there 3rd place and in the final 6th place

Anyways, I so wanted us to be in last place. Unfortunately, someone gave us 1 point at the end and we finished at 2nd to last... Worth place for Lithuania in Eurovision so far

Well this year this giving points for neighbors were a little bit taken down, as from every country also a jury gave their votes, that was added to people's choice and then sent to Eurovision.

Well Gimli, you're welcomed  that we gave you 1 point.

Actually I am glad that Norway won. Because for example if Iceland would have won, they would be economically f....ed. But Norway is in one of the best condition of European countries atm so t hey can afford to host it next year.

Guys, a lot of you say Norway's song sucked? Hmm then please tell me, why did Norway got points almost from every country that participated this year? 
let's see from whom did Norway got his 12 points:
Belarus - ok singer born in there but moved away when he was 5 ok connection, but still not a neighbor and I expected 12 to go to Russia from there.
Denmark - ok obvious
Estonia - Now how the hell is Estonia connected to Norway, if you find out any strong connection, please enlighten me.
Germany - huh? Did a lot of WW 2 German veterans voted for Norway for good times in Norway?
Hungary - I have no explanation, anyone?
Iceland - obvious
Israel - Again, anyone have any explanation, and conspiracy theories doesn't count. Or is it because Norway supports all religions?
Latvia - Any Latvians to comment this, why should Latvians vote for Norway if it wasn't for the show.
Lithuania - Baltic united?
Netherlands - Everyone were just high?
Poland - had a bit similar historical background? or what?
Russia - That about 100 km long border also counts?
Slovenia - any takers on this one?
Spain - Norwegian vikings had great forests from which Spain used to build their galleons and Spain still remembers it and returns the favor?
Sweden - ok neighbor
Ukraine - everybody who voted had been drinking a bit vodka too much and dialed the wrong number?

I heard on BBC Radio 5-Live, that a set of Chelsea fans were going to something in this contest to stop Norway winning, because the Referee that ref'ed their Semi Final with Barcelona that they lost, and 4 penatly decisions were turned down, was from Norway.

Some people didn't liked Norway's song, Jubin. I hated almost all, except Denmark's, Iceland's and Sweden's. And I daresay, Russia's sucked. For me, it would shared the last place with BAH.

The Norwegian song was good.

One of the reasons he would win is due the fact 2 combined 2 kind of music.

The music from West-Europe, then I more mean the singing itself.
The music from East-Europe, background music and violin style.

That is a good way, because then BOTH sides like that as our music taste is very different.
I think he did very well, and otherwise it's just because I luv Norway, even when I am from Holland

I expected Norway in top 3 but not as a winner with such difference in points...
For sure it was a corrupt voting, where all countries suddenly gave highest votes to the low class song just cos its "sticky"...
When were amazing energy from Ukraine and Greece, lovely voice from United Kingdom and hot sunny rhythms from Azerbaijan...

In compare with them Norway song sucked (no offense)...

Norway won cos:
- their economical situation allows them to manage the performance next year;
- that was a russian (belorussian) guy

Ps: I liked more performance itself... Russians really did their best and for me they raised the Eurovision level a bit higher then just some shitty pop-music barracks...

Ps: I was laughing at the amount of violins this year...

1st: Finland, "Overkill choreography"
2nd: Germany, "Trallalllalalalaalla, woo, we are posing idiots"
3rd: Russian, "Way too sad "rhythms

I just checked the norweigan dudes idol try-out... It was horrible.
Also the swedish song for eurovision 2009 was really bad too o_o

This kind of music really isn't my type... it all sounds bad more or less in my ears.
