Yes, since you breaking the rule by carjacking it back, it's better if you /report him and wait for an admin.

You should change the rules when it comes to Drive-By. Let's say a suspect is alone in a car and i get suspected for evading that person should not get db'd i mean it's pity crime, but if the suspect is wanted for murder then it's a diffrent story. Driving is a big part of SA and i like a good chase.

If you're referring to SA:MP, I believe there were rules at some point or another that it was based on either being a severe crime, or a faster vehicle. For that you may have to check the SA:MP SAPD procedures and protocols information on ARPD Forums...but I believe they have something in place to prevent the cars from being straight-up shot at from another police vehicle.

As for other servers, I don't think specific rules are set due to desync problems, or the lack of information being decided upon yet for them.

I've actually been curious about the same thing a long time ago.

You should just surrender, because when you surrender, you're frozen, and the cop can't kill you. If they cuff you and still start shooting, you can just run away from them and be frozen again, then you contact an admin as soon as possible. Never use /q for that, because that's /q (script)abuse. There's no reason not to trust a stranger in Argonath. Just give people (cops in this case) a chance, and do what I explained if they start to rulebreak.

Today several groups organized for a large scale assault, we get armed and we mobilize.
Just as the group is headed to target, we get stalked by the PD and then are asked to pull over, we have no choice but to do so in order to avoid ruining the role play. We are asked to do monkey tricks and we have no choice since there is a officer parked right in front of us threatening to ruin the entire damn role play if we don't do exactly as he says.

The role play has been delayed by a lot and the prey could log off any moment.
A few of us get pissed off and kill the officer, then jail the killer. We are then admin dealt with because apparently now jailing your own friends is against the server rules.

What are your your thoughts on this?

Note: I am here asking for a opinion from the owners,not from the SAPD or the FBI or from the admin team. I already interviewed several admins, and even they have different opinions on what should and shouldn't have been done, so i want to know what the server owners think.

So yesterday i accepted a hit, i pmed an admin and i asked about carrying out hits solo or with friends. the answer i got was that if im alone i can kill him without informing him but i should maybe send a pm after and let him know that he had a hit on him. And if i had friends joining me i had to "last hit" him, this i think seems reasonable. But today after me and 2 ingame family members carried out a hit and an admin came. Now this admin tells us what we did was DM you cannot just kill someone even if he has a hit on him and that rp should be involved, now this doesnt make any sense to me because it is a hit. but when a hit is done it clearly says killing them now is DM. So please i want a proper explaination to all this

They probably mean you should be roleplaying out the hit, acting as if you're just another person in the area, doing certain actions, etc. to throw off the user's guard before killing them in a way that would be consistent with RP...rather than just driving up and shooting the life out of them and leaving.

I understand what you mean, but lets face it it really depends on who the victim is because alot of people ofcourse group up and call friends to help them defend against the hitman. lets say im a hitman going after my target and  i know he can get alot of people helping him why would i go up to him and let him know instead of just use a knife from behind or a sniper that is more realistic

You don't need to tell him or let him know. Just roleplay it out.

For example:

*User1 looks back*

* SugarD pretends to pick up a penny off the ground

*User1 turns away and begins to walk off*

* SugarD walks up behind him silently and pulls out a knife

* SugarD cuts his throat while saying, "User3 sends his respects"

There are many other ways to go about this too. Just use your imagination and have fun with it. Remember, hits are supposed to be roleplayed killings too. They are just a bit harder to do without the user catching on.

What i mean is can i get banned for killing someone with a hit without RP? I take a chopper to a roof, take out my sniper and i see my target. I see my chance and i start to shoot, target dies now this is what i call a hit. I dont want to post an unbann request for deathmatching because i carried out a hit diffrent than someone else.
