We will have a conference but right now we will check the condition of the community, servers, webs, scripts and organization of the process...
Also we'll check the condition of Rock Stars clan members to see if they are able to start/continue active support of the project Argonath...
For sure we will appear on V mp and discord to check things on our own by own eyes...
We also need the opinion of players of community as veterans so new players...
And after that, seeing the situation and checking out the possibilities of V mp confirming what we can do or create there we will arrive to start discussion with the developers team...

Unfortunately just logging in to forums and checking the VMs won’t be sufficient. As community leaders we have processes and discussions not visible here.

Therefore it would be worth having this conference sooner rather than later so you can be aware of the full extent of each server and the full community.

Sauron and Gandalf are already part of the discord, and we can send an invite for the HQ discord. We can then debrief you on all areas and any other further questions you might have.

You can see Discord as a modern version of Skype, you can have normal text conversations that are saved (DMs, group chats and servers) unless the message was deleted by the author(or in servers, a staff member, but theres an audit log for those). You can also have video and voice calls/ video and voice group chats if those are to your liking. Its also supported on almost all platforms as well as in web browsers, so if you don't want to you dont even have to download any software to use it.

Of course! You can even search for keywords from different convos and servers.

The HQ boards on forum are still there aswell and rather we argue about going on discord or here, I'd suggest starting to discuss things right now on forums.

I see. Maybe if we improve the forum somehow, it would attract more people. It's great that Sauron added more power to the server, but I feel like the forum could still use a major functional and visually appealing overhaul.

I personally would like to see the forum converted to a more premium software like IPB or Xenforo, but really anything would be better than nothing.

I already said we will start discussions as soon as we will get know the conditions... Do not expect from us discussing things which we have no idea even about and sit and listen to what I should hear I also will not fall into...
Besides it I want to know opinion not only developers but a normal players that is fair I suppose... Any problems with that?

There's really not that many active players anymore. I lurk the forums but I don't play SAMP anymore because its a ghost town. I don't play the VMP server because I just don't find it fun, and it's also a ghost town.

But I will say I believe Argonath has the ability to earn lost players back, and many new players if enough effort and proper leadership is put in. How that is done is entirely up to you guys, but I would suggest that you make this effort count because I don't think many people will be willing to give it yet another chance if it fails.
