Yeah but I suppose you have no idea what exactly is Argonath classic style... ))) Long time ago we had no enough possibilities to create interesting scripts and still we succeeded to make server interesting... The same will be with VMP...

Bingo... Why should we all waste our time on arguing when we all can use our skills to make better even two servers... And everyone will be happy... If Argonath has separated two groups of roleplay - why not to run two servers of each vision...

With all due respect, Aragorn, a lot of people left specifically for a desire to have a more serious roleplay atmosphere (to adhere to which a copycat community was created, where quite a big number of former SAMP players and veterans alike went).

These were the changes that the community HQ have made while you two were on hiatus for quite a lot of time, and those changes were appreciated by what's left of the community. I'd say they went with a sort of "hybrid" model to appeal to both sides of the coin. I think it would be counter-productive to revert all those changes and would be a final nail in the coffin.

We were never counting on old recourses being whatever time near by and left us... If they trust us - they will arrive...

And stop this panics about coffin... If you do not like what we created and raised - you can always move on... I would like from my side as well to ask to respect what we created and to understand that you all talk with people who made their own SAMP script system from scratch adding things that no any server had... And making community from 0... If you doubt our vision and experience, if you do not trust our mentality - you have all rights to move on, and we will not be bothered with that cos it takes us out from our work...

Yeah we will ask what players ideas are, but will not fall for every of it but taking only those which we think can be positive... If you do not like that also - I cannot stop you from moving away from us... That will be good for everyone...

I hear here that players changed... Players did not change - changed the possibilities of gamemode... And with that exactly we will start working... We will use possibilities to make our vision wider and more organized adding new features...

Telling us that our vision is incorrect - telling that Argonath was from beginning a whole crap... Respect at least what WE did...

Never had the chance of meeting you but let me tell you that whatever's left of SAMP or any other veterans of the kind are very much sick of hearing "you are not having things your way". "We know better". If you pay attention to the details you'll realize that "we're the owners, we know better" mentality brought this great community to this decaying level of activity.

Just my bit right there, ultimately it's up to both you and Gandalf. It always was. But trust me when I say that you'll be ruling over a graveyard if you simply come out ten years later and point us to a direction the server used to have back in your days.

Yes yes kid and all that. But regardless if you and your brother likes it or not, a personality cult formed around you. If it was the players or yours fault that this personality cult formed can be hard to say.
People never respected Gandalf to the extent they did you. Not in the past and not now either. Anyone who claims otherwise are not honest with themselves or you two.
It's not neccesarily wrong that Gandalf was the less harsh one. But it came of as weak, you were always the most outspoken one and acted as a rock for the community. You two were a dream team for this community. It's not by chance that tension rose after you went away Aragorn. Gandalf is like Luigi to the mario to say it in another way.

You being here was reassuring. Nobody in the history of the Argonath community could ever be YOU. And asking us to rule ourselves after the fairly dictatorial way
you two (but mostly you) ruled was doomed to cause tension at the bare minimum. Power struggles are a real thing and it makes people go corrupt. When a hole is left, it will need to be filled.
Peoples opinions about how things are to be also change. Obviously if I could we'd all be back in MTA:VC with a tiny ass community where everyone got along. That's a pipe dream ofc.
I'm honestly surprised this community has lasted as long as it has (I define the end of a community as: not being on the internet in any capacity anymore).

Hi Aragon you'll probably won't know me i joined the server around 2012-2013 I kinda lost all of you with al those pages here 40 and something i'm just here to ask what is it you think we as a community or you as an owner and a leader should do the revive this community once again to the times which we had to wait outside the server just to join it, the times that i was actually fun playing and not like now playing in a hope that 5-6 people would join when your online so there would be a little interaction between the players

I don't think people necessarily wanted to get you and Gandalf back for the leadership, but rather, to attempt to get the proper access to fix/upgrade/add things so that you guys wouldn't have to be bothered ever again. That's part of the reason the servers are empty. No one is willing to provide developer assistance if the community doesn't have the proper resources to improve its infrastructure.

Well this topic is supposed to be a dialog with the owners as the title says, right? I can't see how you are so triggered by regulars or veterans here expressing their thoughts with you. That's the whole purpose of the topic after all.

And to the actual quote, I do not really expect you or anyone from SA:MP to make my wishes come true.. and quite frankly I do not try to press you. I'm addressing certain facts about past arguments with CLs/DVs or even Owners.

I've tried to distance myself from SAMP the last year but I wouldn't mind giving a hand for its resurrection. But I sure as hell am not going to stand here and go along with whatever shit is thrown in my face for the sake of server's survival. I've tried that in the past and guess what.. it didn't work.

Right now we will concentrate on VMP, I was trying to check yesterday what is done and what can be added, and how to organize the whole script system so server can run as a good country...))) But I have to fix the crashes, I am constantly crashing no matter what I was trying to change...

For sure will be new system with new options even those which nobody yet thought about... Will be a possibility for many levels of roleplayers - from those who like to shoot and fight (inside the rules of cos) to those who like the pure roleplay or some funny chilling around together...

I suppose that the system will be a bit more friendly to new players and many other features which you will face only on beta server and not inside a discussions (lets just wait for a big surprises)

We will support the scripting and developers teams of any server, for example VC MP who actually happy with their server so my appearance there not needed unless to scare them hahah)))

And what about the SA:MP server as i'm a member of the SA:MP community altough i'll gladly play on the V:MP server once i'll be able to run GTA V, but yeah my main question is what about SA:MP

I hope you all understand how strange your "suggestions" sound. For the last 2 years, and in reality even longer, no request was ever denied by us, nor did we interfere in anything regarding the community.
We return to empty servers and people whining about changes they had 2 years to make without any interference. The one server that did not change is the one with leaders who did not fall for shit from the community and made their own plans.
So instead of sitting running your mouths in forum and Discord you could have done something. Those of you who want to work on things and show us they can manage what they are talking about are welcome and will be given every opportunity. In the mean time we will also use the method that worked for over 10 years to make people stick to the community

Those in charge have all access to the VM's as needed. If they would need more capacity in any way, it was never asked. If they would need upgrades they could do it themselves. Only thing kept from access is the main dedicated server, and just like any other hosting company, that is none of your business.
If developers have no idea what they are doing you need more capable ones.
