Does anyone know how to make texts glossy? Just like normal black font so the text is glossy?

And how do i make a picture, for example...

A circle with a D in the middle, how can i cut out that D so when i delete the background layer, you can see straight through it.
Something like cDa's???

You need to have invisible backround when you save the picture, and to have invisible backround use .PNG And about the text, just move it with Move -tool and to make text glossy you need to add a secondary layer with similiar shape but in white, and then change it's blending mode into Overlay or Soft Light or change it's Opacity to ~40%. It's all about layers :D And I cant tell it any better..
