Hey Sickness, thanks for responding!

If by chance my laptop has got dust stuck inside of it, any step by step instructions you can share here? I tried to put a vacuum up the the vents..... didn't work D:

I'll keep an eye out for the direct sunlight thing

I don't even know what overclocking is

Have done that a few times, trying to limit the amount I have the laptop open on soft surfaces - question though, I have a pad that I bought for about 20 bucks at Best Buy and it seems to limit the heat a little bit, but after a little while the pad just burns up.

Got the blue screen about 2 times.

overclocking is making parts of a computer run faster then intended (i.e. producing more heat)

to clean vents, its easy, flip the laptop over (dont scratch the lid)

unscrew the screws for the bottom cover and look for the vents, get a q-tip and rub it on the dust

it sticks like a magnet :)

easy as that

And for even more hard-to-get-to places such as around the processor use a can of compressed air. I use it all the time to clean my computer and I have NEVER had an overheating problem.

Hmm, well take all your food out of your freezer and go in there and play, simple as at  :) Nah jk, but if you have heating problems (I had the same thing but on a stationary computer) I suggest you goto your local computerist or computer store so that they can take a look at it. Because when I had the same problem I turned it in and they said that the cooling device (wich helps the fans to cool and regulate the fan speed) had got  broken, or it was like lying in the bottom of the computer so it had basiclly falled off the place where it was suppose to be. But when they fixed it my computer ran good and no more overheating alarms. And those "peeeps" you hear is a built in alarm that goes on everytime the computer gets overheated (On my old comp, got a new now, the alarm was on the bottom of the computer chassi) But with laptops it can be different types of problems, such as these guys already said dust in the fans or the fans doesnt get alot of cool air or the fan that sucks in air is blocked or something. Do like they said: raise your laptop so it gets more ventilated (its the same with stationary computers) if they dont get enough air they get overheated to, in your case 80/90Celsius and crash.

More ventilation more fresh air, clean your fans regulary atleast 1 time at a month, if that doesnt help contact your local computer store :)

See you in the future...Or the past...
