If you are gay, that doesn't let you call everyone you see "gay". Suddenly all this gay thing turns up, now all I see is the kind of advertisement 'oh shi I luv diz boy I r gay', and people calling me gay randomly, I mean nothing wrong with being gay, neither showing you love someone but once you start advertising it (showing it exaggeratedly, repeatedly) to everyone it becomes pretty uhm... bothering.

A big sign in the LGBT community is just wearing any sort of accessory that is in the Bi colours or Rainbow colours, whether it be a bandana, wristband, sweatband, bracelet, belt.. whatever.

I replaced a cap badge with a GPA badge at one point and got a bollocking for it.

I'd have to strongly disagree.

The "straight" in "get your facts straight", is derived from the normal definition of straight unlike the "gay" in "theses crashes are gay", which is derived from the sexual orientation definition. Moreover, even if they were both derived from the sexual orientation definition, the "straight" in "get your facts straight" refers to something good, whereas the "gay" in "these crashes are gay" refers to something lame.

Since I'm so used to people using it all the time where I'm from, I'm not too phased by it, but it gets annoying when people overuse it.

However, if they're saying it with reference to something that an actual gay person (stereotypically) would supposedly do (clothing for example, "dude, those pants are pretty gay"), then I don't mind at all.
