It your decision of when or how to tell them.
If you are really having a hard time to speak to them openly, write them a letter.
Explain that it is not something you discovered over night, and that you are absolutely certain about it.
Tell them how hard it is four you to tell it to them, but that you are ready to discuss all the problems surrounding it with them.

Sounds like you have experience in this .  Just kidding.

My name is Cofiliano, and i am homophobic.

Imagine tomorow, you walk togheter with your 5 year old kid, and he see gay parade, with all stuff that comes with it. ITs not ok for a 5 year old kid to see two males kissing, even if the kid himself will maybe gonna chose homosexuality, its not ok for him to expiriance seuxality on the age 5.
I dont mind if anyone do anything they consider it a pleasure, i dont mind if you have sex with same gender ppl, but does stuff( just like heterosexuals), are PRIVATE stuff, and shoudnt brag around, with gay parades, comercials etc. I mean, ok , your gay, but you srsly dont need to point it everyday, keep it for yourself, just like heterosexuals do it ( mostly ofc ). So do w/e you want, but dont bug me, my comunity, my way of life.

1) It really depends on the parents, seriously. Your obviously speaking from your point of view, not all parents think the same way as you..  ;)

2) So what if a 5 year old sees two males kissing, or two females.. whatever, its not like that child will go 'oooh, I wanna be like them! :0'.. I mean, thats VERY narrow minded thinking. Thats like saying, if I saw a straight couple kissing when I was five, I would be straight. wtf?

3) We arnt bugging you.. 'So do w/e you want, but dont bug me, my community, my way of life', I can say that from my view, and Gay/Bi's people view aswell. This is how to feel towards straight people.. do not bug us with your narrow minded, ignorant views on anything but straightness, do not judge our community, or our way of life. And this goes to all homophobic people.

4) I wrote the reason for 'pride' earlier in this thread but I guess you did not read it.
The reason for parades is that we are proud, we are proud to be different, we are proud to have gone through what we have gone through. I dont think you straight people realise that Gay and Bi people have the hardest time.. yet, you STILL think we dont deserve to be proud of what we have gone through.. all the remarks, all the coming out to friends/family, having to put up with everything. Im proud of this, for coming out to myself, my friends, and for being who I am. Im proud of being different. I was born the way I am, and I could have chosen to be straight but yet with a gay mind. But, I did not because I had the courage.. I had the guts to come out to myself.. Does one not deserve to be proud of this? I think yes.

So before you think what you thought, TRY to understand why we are 'proud' of who we are than just thinking its for plain showing off. If you still dislike them, no one is asking for your opinion. Let people do what they wish, you dont need to get involved.

I feel sorry for homophobic people. Simple.

That question has been asked before in this topic, and is it too hard to believe that the answer is yes?

I believe that announcing that you're bi is easier than announcing that you're gay because most parents want grandchildren and if their child is bi they still have a chance of getting a grandkid.

That's only my uneducated opinion, though.

NO! Arghghhhh.... Guys.. we are not all like that. We dont wear girly cloths and speak with girly voice. Infact, that is just STEREOTYPEING.

PLEASE... this annoys the f**k outta me. We are not all like this, dont listen to what TV/Media whatever says.. most gay/bi people look the same as straight people..

The only person in Argonath outta that HUGE list on page one who wears cloths like this and tight jeans etc etc is Sickness.

Everyone else 'looks straight', okay?
Dont think that cos you seen on TV or a few people in RL that look like that, that all Gay people are like this.

Oh and to answer your question, no.  :)

I do LIKE pink, but I dont always wear it, or dress up all puffy and girly. I wear normal looking clothes.. normally for me, my normal 'style' is just casual clothes. Baggy jeans or combat trousers, with single colour or pattern'ed shirt.

Dont worry  ;)

Like I said, not many people actually look like that or wear tight fitting jeans.. whatever.
And again, Out of all the gay/bi people I know, (and outside Argonath aswell), the only person I know who does wear clothes like this is Sickness.

lol, now im making it seem like Sickness is a bad person or whatever.. LOL, to Sickness - sorry man, I was just using you as an example

1) People are born liking the opposite sex, Why should they hide just because you dont like it?

2) People have the right to express themselves, and the only reason a 5 year old kid shouldnt be exposed to the gay community, is BECAUSE your homophobic, nothing more.

3) Its hiding kids from things like Gay Parades that lets them grow up to despise gay/lesbians ect. If they are exposed to that kind of thing, they will become used to it and not be homophibic.

Oh wow, Romeo that is a great post. Totally.

2) People have the right to express themselves, and the only reason a 5 year old kid shouldnt be exposed to the gay community, is BECAUSE your homophobic, nothing more.

Omg, I coulnt have said it better, seriously!  :hurray:

Also, hiding children from gay/bi people and not telling who they are, means that children grow up confused who what or who Gay/bi people are, why they are around.. why do they exist, why do they make this 'choice' etc etc. When seriously this is just the result of misunderstanding.

Or even worse - giving them a bad image by saying they are 'bad people', 'z0mg they wrong' etc etc Is brainwashing the children into thinking they are. And dont get me started with religion...
I really think there are some people in Argonath that have been brainwashed cos they were told Gay people are wrong with they were little, or they are still being told this.  :(

:ps: To whoever said I am addicted to this topic earlier, I think I am now officially LOL

Ofcourse its my view, just like your presented us your sexuality and your point of view, i am presenting my.

No, i didnt said that kid will become gay if he see gay ppl kissing, i said that 5 year old kid SHOUDNT see any sexuality. Homosexual groups are the one making parades- i am against that, not gay ppl.

Yes, thats the point, no one bugges no one, no problem. I consider it bugging, if you ( Homosexual groups, not you specificly) constantly need media atention, announcing, specialy groups, special parades, special rights, special care etc etc. How is this "special" , helping GBLT to become treated equal from mayority of heterosexuals ?

Quote
4) I wrote the reason for 'pride' earlier in this thread but I guess you did not read it.
The reason for parades is that we are proud, we are proud to be different

yet, you STILL think we dont deserve to be proud of what we have gone through.. all the remarks, all the coming out to friends/family, having to put up with everything. Different? WHy are you different? Dont you want to be equal? Have equal rights, "ppl are ppl" ? So on one side, you are proud that you are different wanna have "proud perade" etc etc, and on the other you are seeking to be treathed like a straight person.

Quote
we are proud to have gone through what we have gone through. I dont think you straight people realise that Gay and Bi people have the hardest time..

No you didnt had the hardest time, yes hard, but i can give you 10 examples minimum, of groups with harder time then GBLT.

Quote
So before you think what you thought, TRY to understand why we are 'proud' of who we are than just thinking its for plain showing off.

Then shoud we make a proud parade, for everything we are proud on? From Country, Sport Club, Hood, Blonds, Chuck Norris Fans, Sexuality etc etc? That woud be 24/7 blocked Downtown of any City...

I know more GBLT people IRL, then you will meet in......next 3 years. Two of them our my friends, two beautifull girls, but she doesnt go around screaming: "I am lesbo I am lesbo!" No she keeps it for her girlfriend, her bedroom, when ppl ask here, she says it proud, she enjoys it, and i enjoy it, cause she does.

Quote
If you still dislike them, no one is asking for your opinion. Let people do what they wish, you dont need to get involved.

Like i said, i dont dislike gay people, i dislike GBLT lobby, and the need to advertise homosexuality, making  a big point about it,  and making the diference betven homo and hetero, wich ONLY makes it more dificulte to make equal treatment, rights etc etc.

You can call me homo-organisations-phobic.

Well then you shouldn't let your child out to play at all, because man and women will kiss outside wether you like or not, nor you should kiss your wife infront of your 5 year old child. All those things have something to do with sexuality.

And we do not try to be real life, as why would you ever play real life if you have one ? We play the GTA universe, and our players should try to live in the GTA world, not the real one.
