Oh lordy, Thunderstruck has to be THE easiest AC/DC song..
I mean, no offence to AC/DC fans (David ).. but the drumming in all AC/DC songs are incredibly easy and thats why many drummers like to play to AC/DC.

When I play to them.. I tend to get bored outta my mind by playing the same beat over and over for 3 minutes

Maybe ill do it, for the sake of it  ;)
But like I said.. when I get my list of stuff done.

Do something from Rush, you say you play in a progressive style do you? Rush is one of my favorite bands. Try playing Venetian Snares - Gentlemen too lol, I seen a vid of some guy playing it on drums, pretty good.

OMG, you like Rush too? I LOVE them!  :D

But yeah, as Neil Peart is one of the gods of drumming.. his style is really really hard. I can kinda play Tom Sawyer and YYZ, and some tracks on the Snakes & Arrows album.. but Xanadu has to be the most fun Rush song to play imo!

I have aparently 'infrindged copyright' on the 'Knights of Cydonia' video. Ofcourse, I have taken the liberty of sending YouTube a dispute form as I will not tolerate this.. all I did was post a cover, I did not intend to freakin infrindge copyright.

So either for now, or whatever, that video is off.

Agreed that the Maiden songs aint much technical, but Nicko McBrain is a hell of a drummer you gotta agree to that :D Especially if you think about his age ;)

This what I did to one of my drumsticks while drumming today  :D

You should've seen how I played Crash in Finland. I used the soft-top sticks or what ever they are called to play crash and then the whole top flew off in the middle of the song :D

Good thing was that the other guy that was playing drums had another pair and then I played with them :P

Oh yeah nylon tips  :D I might start using them or testing them, havnt tried yet. I heard they make cymbals sounds brighter and cleaner. Ill see when I try!

Also, remember to bring more than one pair of drumsticks to a gig, ive learnt that from many people  :)

Use Vic Firth, I've been using them for a while.

Yeah was thinking the exact same thing, either ill be getting Vic Firth sticks, or going back to my very first brand I had - Pro-Mark

I use 7A (the lightest, most thinnest) Round tips or barrel tip sticks. Which could be the reason why mine are breaking so easily.. but tbh I really dislike using thick sticks.. they feel.. eugh to me. lol

Ill try Vic Firth 7A sticks, or their equivilent. And also their Nylon sticks too  :D

Thin Sticks are a waste of money.
