If you got psp open with internet connected to it, then turn it off... it takes up all the speed and nothing left to your computer.
That happen with me... I had radio on psp and when I did /login and after a few seconds I got disconnected and it reconnected...

Romeo - A new router should fix your problem. My internet would drop out randomly and frequently (the only way to fix it being to reset the router manually) and when I replaced the router, the problem disappeared.
