It should not be this hard to leave a computer game..

it will be after few months CBFasi... belive me... if hackers, cheaters, rulebreakers, and regular people leave Argonath RPG, and then suddenly want to come back... then why should you be different?

I am very sorry to hear this all... Thanks for what you did for Argonath RPG, ARPD and the whole SA:MP community. We own you a lot.

EDIT: I also just want to say... if people like something, they mostly don't say it, if people don't like anything, then that is the only time they will say something about the product.

What I want to say is... there are positive things in RS 4.0, and almost everyone who played Argonath RPG SA:MP liked it.. that is one of the reason a lot of hackers and cheaters and rulebreakers asks a unban request on this site. If the scripts were shit/stupid, then they would not ask for unban, right?

I will be considering this decision over the next few days and maybe weeks.  I need to sort out in my head just what is important for me at last, what do I feel good doing, once upon a time Argonath was there but I dont know anymore.

I will think this over.

Go on holiday if you job and wallet allows you too for a few days, you live in a popular place for holidays, it will help you with your final decision.

These exacted same words came with me a lot of times... when I was Moderator on the SA:MP server, I had these words, when I was stressed about the lots of people asking and contacting me about Argonath RPG stuff where I could not or even did not wished to answer. My personal life even became Argonath RPG only for a while, and totally forgot my friends on school. And yeah... I fell what was happening with me, I flamed normally in Real Life when I was doing Argonath RPG only, I stressed a lot, I almost even got kicked by my own class, because I was always complaining at them. While the most problems was on Argonath RPG, because I cared a lot at that.

CBFasi, that was the reason why I asked some admins to ban myself and to protect myself on playing Argo for a while... most of these admins refused (thankfully), and since this all was not stopping for me, and it even affected my familly life, I became thinking of more, cruel things.... Thank god I got banned later by FlameMan.


CBF, what you need to do is to talk and find some friends, take some days off, and go to a cinema, beach and such. Perhaps talk on your work about the things you do, and learn the other people. Or if that is difficault. Then buy some other multiplayer games and take some time there for a while... I did most of these things when I was banned from Argonath RPG, and it helped me a lot to talk with other people, and just talk about fun and joy. And not about certain lines that does not work, or that I do nothing of what I am doing while people don't see that I am actually doing something.


Take your time CBF, do other things... stable yourself, and take a good (non-argo) vacation. You really need that. It helped for me, Aragorn, Gandalf and a lot of other people and admins who I talked personally.

Goddammit, i'm gone for 1 day and this shit happends. Don't leave us CBF, we fucking need you and you know it. Everyone here thinks the same, think about it once more and just think this through. Do not leave that quick, look what you leave behind. A server with good people in it who deserve a good scripter like you. Think about it.

A talk with one of the server owners is helping, at the moment all is now indecisive, will need a few hours at least, I need to calm down for a start.

IF I came back it would not be the same, that is for certain.  I cannot risk this happening again and some of what has happened in the past cannot be allowed to happen to me again.  I have abilities and a presance that I never expected to have the impact it does and much of response in this topic has shown that.  Its that impact that is both a help and a hinderance.

CBF, come on man, Argonath needs you... who will have tea with Sauron on Saturdays? Who will be the best scripter in the world? Who will make Argonath's life and the player's lifes inside of it better? We need you here CBF. Yes David is a great scripter, but even he himself said he is not ready to take the place that you had.

CBF your like one of the god's on this server... without you many thins will go wrong, stop working, and much much chaos ensures... Please stay with us CBF, although it is 100% your decision and no matter what we say should influence your choice, you have to at least view how many people will miss you, and how much we actually need you. You surely don't get enough credit for what you do... I have a similar experience once, and I sure did get mad. and I'm sure many others can relate.

I know it's your decision, but please re-consider the choice
