So. I have to write this quick before my Firefox closes. My problem is that when i boot windows it says invalid boot.ini file. ive searched for every way to edit it. But i cant even acces it cause its unreadable. I created my own boot.ini that has the right code in it but i cant replace my original boot.ini with it because its impossible to find or delete the boot.ini. I think thats the problem why my programs are all closing by themselves randomly in a few mins..

Did a virus scan took 3 hours and 650000 files scanned no detections. Does anyone know what may cause my programs to randomly close? :S

everytime i try to play SA-MP or CSS they close. sometimes it closes everything. just now it closed MSN and i have Skype and mozilla firefox running but they didnt close at all. ( They dont close with any kind of error message or anything. they just randomly dissapear in a blink.. )

Step One: Download window's recovery console at http://www.thecomputerparamedic.com/files/rc.iso

Step Two: Burn the ISO to a blank cd using a program such as IMGBurn

Step Three: Put the disc in your pc, reboot. When it says "Press any key to boot from CD", press any key.

Step Four: At windows installation screen, press 'R' to start the recovery console.

Step Five: Enter admin password at console. If you have none, just hit enter. Once you're at the command prompt, type bootcfg /rebuild.

Step Six: When you receive the message "
Total Identified Windows Installs: 1

[1] C:\Windows
Add installation to boot list? (Yes/No/All)"

Press Y on the keyboard.

When you receive the message containing "Enter Load Identifier". Depending on your Windows version, type either Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and press enter.

When you receive a message containing "Enter OS Load options", type /fastdetect, and press enter

Step Seven: Type exit and press enter. Take out the cd and check if windows boots up now.

Hope it helps  :)

I don't know, but it's worth a try. It will definitely fix the "Invalid boot.ini" error,

Check your net maybe you didn't let 'em through firewall or something try to add them as exclusions in your firewall!!  (as you discribed all apps you numbered are internet reliable ) idk what to say ????
I had this crashes on CoD4 and SAMP when i didn't let them on internet

P.S Try to add SAMP and GTA SA on internet (that stoped my closings )

Hope you fix it  ;)

well that makes no sence at all... theres no reason a program would close if its blocked from accessing a network or internet...  it would just say it cant connect or w/e...

I just scanned my computer with Spybot again and i found a Win32Agent virus.. in the desctroption it said it can send emails and TERMINATE PROCESSES and stuff. So i deleted it with spybot. And still my programs are closing. So maybe it didnt get deleted?

http://www.spywareremove.com/removeWin32Agent.html

That site shows its processes. I have none of them running. So it cant be Win32Agent thats closing my programs..?

It could be it if you want to delete it go in Task Manager and find these processes

sskupdater.exe
ssk.exe
sskupdater.exe5102.exe
ssk.exe
5102.exe

End them !!!! that is how i got rid of malware these are common exe biatches ohh

or USe Malware Bytes app (best for malware programs) and yes Win32Agent is malware and he does damage after every reboot

Check the box on task manager called "Show processes from all users". If you still do not see the processes, then it's not that virus.
