Cops "bug-abusing" (Or what I should call it)

I see crashes as a bug, as they aren't meant to be there.

So well, sometimes when you get chased and you crash, cops occupy the vehicle the criminal recently used and drive it away so the criminal can't easily reach it when he get back ingame. I see this as bug abusing as it gives advantage over other players.

I agree, they can occupy it to keep the carhp (Carhp gets back to 100/100 if you crash and then join again.)

What do you think about this? In my opinion I see this as bug-abusing and there should be an enforced rule against this.

Don't blame freecops, I've seen ARPD Officers doing this also...


And; I know this will come up in the future: "Well, when cops crash, criminals doesn't wait for us!"         Well! There's often not just 1 cop on 1 criminal in a chase. There's more cops then criminals USUALLY. And it's pretty hard for us to notice if you've crashed or not.

Yep... this also doesn't just go for cops, but players too, maybe your trying to kill a guy, and he crashes... they take the car and leave you open to be shot.

Yeah, that's probably true, even though I haven't been in a such situation.

Well, play on a server without scripts with 80~ players = Almost No crashes.
Play on a server with scripts and 80~ players = Crashes.

So yeah, I would call crashes are bugs as they aren't meant to be there.

You got a point, I would agree to be slapped down (Or whatever) to the ammount of HP I had before crash.

Yeah well, this happend like once today but, It's happen for everyone and it's pretty disturbing :P

Even one time, some cop stole my vehicle when I crashed and blew it up  :trust:

Listen, we really can not control if somebody crashes. If we stop for criminals, in most cases, they come back, start ordering around with the reason "I crashed"...

"I want 20 seconds DO NOT SHOOT ME!!!!"
"When I crashed I remember having only 3 cops after me! Why are there 5 cops now?! NO WAY!!!"
"I am using a sixth car because you cops blew up my car when it was on black smoke!!!!!"

And the reason for cops being more still makes no sense. If you want to spend atleast 10 minutes "restoring" the situation because a criminal's crash, you should agree doing the same when EVERY cop crashes!!

Also when you can't drive and you crash while having a car on black smoke damage... Don't blame the cops for shooting the car whilst a cop jacks the driver who crashed and making it go boom...

I can say a lot of criminals in Argonath who, in a way or another, can not notice they ACCEPT that cops will outnumber them, accept to be frisked and forced to hand over weed, be arrested later with a warrant, be interrogated and etcetera once they become criminals.

I thinks its stupid, because the cops can steal our car and drive it away, we cant take their cars and drive it to hell..
I thinks this should be rule breaking by abusing crashes to get more advanges to catch suspects, its not the suspects fault that he gets crashes and he cant do anything about it either can the cop.

Yes suspects runs away, but doesnt cops shoot suspects down like hell when they are spawning after crash ? Yes they do, i've tried before when i spawned i had like 10 health left and my car was destroyed like hell after 2 seconds i didnt even got time to get back in the chase so i had to surrender, that sucks thats really not a pursuit..

I say, don't put any rules about it.

That way, if a player wants to be known as good, fair-playing guy, he will try to not take too much of an advantage after a crash.

Cops should enjoy a chase... Instead of trying to kill the suspect (for whatever reason you want) while he is relogging from crash, let them get back in car and continue the chase.

I like 9r2e5i3k's idea.... a lot better actually...
