Hey.
I am soon going to get my notebook from ASUS, which there will be a software disc included, but with only the drivers..
I am now searching after a software that can backup the ENTIRE HD, with windows and EVERYTHING.
The program shall be able to burn discs, and where the computer can boot from when needed and pre-install everything.
My friend bought a HP notebook, and there was actually included such program, but unfortunally it's only made for HP..
He's program made him 14,4 GB of the HD, and then it splitted the file's up, and the program burned the files for him on 4 DVD disc's..
It's such a program I'm looking for :)
If you got anything to suggest, then please post, I will be glad to pay the helper..
The topic will keep going for max. 3 days (or when a person posts a program which I find helpful).
Cya all! :)

The best and number 1 on every sites dedicated to backups

Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 is a comprehensive workstation partition and disk management suite that combines a number of previous Acronis products into one solution:
Acronis Partition Expert allows you to resize, move, copy, split, and merge partitions without losing your data

Acronis OS Selector is a multi-boot software utility that allows you to install multiple operating systems on your PC

Acronis Disk Director Suite is the ideal tool in the combination with Acronis True Image backup. Here's how you can take advantage of these two products together:

* Create individual partitions for your system and your data using Acronis Disk Director Suite.
* Image your system partition using Acronis True Image only before applying system changes, such as installing new software and the like.
* And make scheduled data backups from your data partition by selecting specific files you need to backup.
* Thus, using the combination of two great Acronis products you will always have an image of your system and backup of your data. This will greatly save you time and reduce your storage requirements.

I have it and whenever i get attacked by an virus i simply click one button and all fixed

will give you the download link in PM if you want

Well, "Acronis", is that program able to do what I need?
Update the ENTIRE HD, including the OS, create images for them, and burn them into disc's ?
I'm talking about burning 4 DVD disc's, 14.4GB, as my friend did..
I want all drivers + the OS installed (all system files, also hidden files) EVERYTHING..
Is that a program you can recommend for this?

Man you seriously deserve a forum ban too. You're just sitting around asking for it. Annoying the F.U.C.K. out of everybody isn't the way to go. I hope you do NOT get unbanned!

I think yes
Vista, XP and Windows 7 are capable of burning backups to CD's - DVD's.
