Economic crisis in Argonath!

People who play to become admins, own the best cars, houses or businesses should be playing who wants to be a ZOMG millionaire, not Argonath RPG. Simples. The 'ZOMG I have 21434MILLIONS' millionaires should use their money in order to stimulate the economy, not wait for the number in /bank to go higher once they buy a car/house/bizz and sell it for 20% more than they bought it for. There was noany reason to sell the car at a higher price, but greed. The ZOMG economists will know that the inflation was caused solely by the ZOMG economists, who ironically happen to be the ZOMG moaners and ZOMG millionaires.. so if anyone is to blame for NOOOOOOO ECONOMY GONE DOWN I NEED MORE MONEYS NAO, it's you players who moan.

If you don't like the addition of the new cars: There is no ANY reason to say that 'ZOMG I LOSED MAH MONEYS, WAT 2 DO NAO' - you have lost nothing if you are not a ZOMG $999999999999 player. You owned a fast car before, and still own a fast car now.

There are people on the server that log in once every two months to 'save' their car, when it could be used by someone else who will actually use the car.. (Sadly, most people end off selling the car that is found unowned due to inactivity..)

There are a small number of people who use their money, and spread their wealth, so that not only they can enjoy the game, but people who they call their friends can too. This can be as little as paying for an entrance fee, to realising a friend's dream for them.  The people here moaning, do not give a crap about RP.. they care about ZOMG bank balance, if they used their heads, they would realise that the two can work hand in hand, and that getting lots of money is not the most fun way to involve money in the server, but using it is.

If you really want to act like a hero and 'rescue the economy' - sell all your invent and buy it all in shares as you would do 'in real life'. Don't go around making typical ZOMG moan topics like this.

Now I might look it at all this from a different point of view and that I am on no ones side. Neutral.

In May when I first got on Argonath, I saw the beginning of this economic crisis. When I got the starting $10,000, I put in my bank and never used it. After a few freecop days, I decided to give up on the server and never login. I got back on in June. Everything stayed the same. I came in, said "Hi" in /p and I never got a reply back. I was a noob. I joined Gvardia, as I saw them being rich and I wanted to be at that level. I made my first $80,000 from selling a Gas Station I bought for $20,000. If you read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", this is called an active, meaning you earn cash from it. A common problem I saw was that most business were owned because of the /loan. The /loan feature was fairly abused. I didn't abuse it as I only used the Gas Station for only 2 weeks. After sometime of searching, I found a house on Grove St. This house made me to $100,000 fairly fast. I always dreamed of having that Bullet or an Infernus that the rich had, I knew it took them time to get it, I never asked or moaned for one. I worked hard to buy this car and I never got it. Till last night. Last night had made me feel from poor to rich in a few seconds. I payed the man who was holding the Turismo for me $160,000. His reply? "Woot! I am rich!!!!1!" This made me smile. I finally reached the level I wanted to be and him wanting to be rich.

to be honest i dont care about money when i get killed or lose alot of cash when price of cars goes down...

but removing all money is wrong, people worked their ass off for this and all this time spend, and then just start from scratch? money should be involved in RP, but people should not cry and moan of they get killed or lost money from a car.

Instead of worrying about what you lost, think about getting back up on your feet.

Regardless of how much money a person has, he will not be happy. Give everyone 100 million on server and they will want more - "Always good to have an extra million" is the comment passed by a regular on local chat. The only time i saw people freely exchange cash  was on test server(because they could not keep it). People were transferring funds which occupied our screen more than the public chat! In fact we had to request them to stop spamming the achat!

Like I said, think about getting back up - for example whoever owns clothing stores, make an advert for giving discounts. If your entry fee is 300 dollars and your discount is 20 percent, give 60 dollars back to the customer before he leaves. Stand in your shop, greet the customers who come, take them to the mirror in your shop, tell them 'Sir, this suit shows the lion in you' and have fun! Or try being a fireman giving mobile carwashes. Or organise a fair in Disneyland with prizes for events(Have a DD with an event prize of 5k or 10k and charge 500 dollar entry fee for the fair. In the process you will earn a little extra). Maybe organise a faggio race on the beach in SF or LS with the tyres blown off, again charging an entry fee and contributing to the prize. And belive me, you will have a really good laugh watching the faggios too!

If you use your imagination, the possibilities are limitless really. You are here to have fun. As stressed by various people, this is Argonath RPG and not Argonath-the money making server. Try and roleplay using your imagination instead of being in some gang pointlessly shooting cops and saying "zomg i killed 5 cops, im uber leet HAHAHA!" Doing something different and fun for all will give you something that will not ordinarily lose its value - respect.

They should of spent their time RP'ing and having fun, not working..To work, I suggest we all go and take care of ours life IRL..not work in a game, I mean..What would happen if tommorrow SAMP closed ? you would all loose money, You would all passed the time in wich SAMP existed working, And didn't had one single bit of fun...lets have fun instead of working...

No, it won't be fair against the regulars. I'm not money greedy at all - but I find it comfortable that I can pay for gas and food (and weapons when needed), without having to fear to get in the negatives.
