Such a shame - the community can't, even ONCE, play by the rules and in a civilized manner.
Sometimes I don't even know why I have faith in all of you. It's depressing.

Why cant they follow those simple rules? They say: " Its $1,000,000.00 Come on... Lets try some multipple votes, lets ask some friends to vote for us " " Are we allies? Yea sure... lets vote for each other! "

If Corleone don't win this I will eat my face.
Of the original two sides, LCV and CM, Corleone has spread the seeds for the most of the best mafias since (e.g. Solonik anyone?) and also Araatus (: D). The group itself is also still going.
LCV spread a group of failed street gangs and the leader of its current incarnation has shown extreme immaturity in the past.

RI are nice, but they aren't a criminal group so I don't deal with them. The only time I had to was Frank Hawk's Hired Goons. o-o

Why did you vote for this group: It has all norms to be called a Business group, ive seen a lot from RI, and all was pretty good, of course there were some bad sides, but at least for me, i think its the best Business group in Argonath so far. even some cant see their method of roleplaying, its pretty complicated but many players are blind and can sometimes consider their roleplay as rulebreaking, besides they're helpful, they encourage everyone, from which new players, with their nice events, ejects for example, they're very orgnized too which i like most.

What could be improved in this group: you can avoid flooding ads, and why not your amazing events in places that really matches a business group (EX: RI:FC In a GYM.)
Favourite member in group and why: Joey_DeRossi, because hes the kind of players that can really understand a situation, create one, roleplay one... hes pretty serious, but hes got fun behind, ive known him a little but still i can see a great player.

Why did you vote for this group: ... They are also the only group besides RI where most members role play at all. It's rare I see Corleone and Stracci role play these days. Nowadays they seem to focus more on business deals. And I've experienced a lot of lieing and deathmatching from these last two groups some months ago. This included members who have admin status. This is why they're the worst groups in Argonath. Months ago, I would've voted for RI, but now I go with Gvardia.

I'd think that the reason you don't see Stracci or Corleone 'roleplay' is because you're not part of them? If you had the slightest bit of knowledge about roleplaying, then you'd know that mafias are secretive. The reason why I see Gvardia gaining the most votes is obvious = recruiting. I am ovar 9000% sure that everyone not in Gvardia will agree with me, with the fact that Gvardia is full of 'noobs/newbs'. I've seen that when Gvardia applicants are accepted, they've been playing here for something like a week.
Please, look through the Corleone topic, and you'll see that Corleone is one of the most selective groups in Argonath. There are only veterans that are accepted into Corleone.

There is nothing wrong with a group that recruits anyone that applies. There is also nothing wrong with a group that recruits only very specific regulars. Both sides have their merits.

Also, anyone that says a mafia deathmatchs is stupid.
A mafia can fight with anyone for any reason. Thats the whole reason for the bloody thing. The system we have now is a compromise only.

This topic was designed to be a topic of inspiration for others to aspire to.  It was to create a legacy of influence which would drive other groups towards. I'm sure we can still recover some sense of dignity from this topic if we all compromise and draw together in a stance of unity for our new players and regulars. We have conducted intensive investigations and consultations with high profile community members and have decided that this voting topic is unstable and inaccurate. Its the immature selfish and malicious individuals who have ruined it for most of the groups and people involved. Due to this, we are stripping the prize of $1,000,000.00.

Instead of the winning group winning $1,000,000.00, the winning group will be asked to donate $250,000.00 to an independent fund towards helping new players. This will act as an incentive to those who genuinely care about their group and filter out the cunning people offering others financial incentives to vote for their group therefore they can spilt the reward.

I see that yet again you do not see further then, your own ass, and your own magic world you live in.
 Yes we have a practice to accepted people who are new to community, but the reason of that ( which none of you " Leet Rpers cause mommy told me"  cant understand), is next:
Last 5 months we rejected more people, then we accepted. Our application system is also one of the serious one. Solo the adding of the need it "IC story" , was enough to make a difference, and erase  clan hoppers, people who wanna join Gvardia, so they be "kewl" and only put a silly Tag, while driving around whole day.
We do not judge someone's application watching his "Popularity, active, regular,  KEWL , 1337 , Rich" or other bullshit.

We judge people by there maturity the most, by there potential to make a difference, to share there Role Play ability's and improve them, to use all knowlege he have to  make some changes, make some new things, bather things  by there ability's to handle things, to be able to join the System of values, and way of working, we are practicing.
And every time, we see that maturity inside them, we are willing to give them a chance, no Mather how new they are, are they "kewl" or a  " fantastic addition cause o wich we look LEET".
Why?
Cause we learn long time ago, that giving chances to new people, that are  aware of the chance they got to progress , will use it as much as they can, to gain  more productive for them, and us, then just giving tag to some "regular" guy, who just wanna "feel" how's it in Gvardia.
How many times did does "regular members" turn out to be bigger problem, then some trials in your Groups? From what i heard, lots of times, for each and every group mention.

Both Gvardia and Stracci, are groups who makes a "newbies", become regular and respectable, and doing that, we done a lot more to make more good additions to our Community, then two of your groups did in there history, cause of your nazi way of selecting people.

I share the opinion that people who doesnt show enough  experience, positive attitude, good behavior, lack of grammar, lack of  Roleplay knowledge, should not be accepted, but not giving the chance to new people, who are trying there best to improve, and showing a lot of effort, cause of your "I am so LEET attitude " is  what i  consider by the word "noobish".
