I've created this topic since I can't find another one about it while I think it's a pretty important matter, tell me if I'm wrong. I guess it wasnt created before because everybody is scared of the consequences lol, but I dont think u should keep your opinion for yourself. After all, you play on Argonath for fun, and that fun is created by the players theirself and their opinions are therefor of much importance to the whole server.
Anyways, back on topic. More than a week ago a big group of admins were kicked from their position. The 'how' is what we know, they were briefly told that they were kicked because they didnt do their job well enough. But it's the 'why' I (and I think I can speak for many more people) am interested in. Ofcourse there is a part of this group that has been kicked for an understanding reason, but to me it looked like: Ok we now have X admins, and after this we want Y (some number) of admins to remain. It looks like u had to kick a number of admins in a very short time and you did it with too few knowledge about them. And then I'm talking about the ones who really put effort in their duty being admin, the ones who were also seen as 'good' admins by the players (while there are admins who werent kicked that were not even close to the qualities of the kicked ones, but this I dont care as much about). Ofcourse every kicked admin had done something wrong which resulted into this kick but its just that these reasons should not be enough to kick them, everybody makes mistakes. Telling them what they did wrong would be a lot more efficiant than kicking them and not being able anymore to make use of their skills. So once again, Im talking about people like ElMartu, Ryan, Nexxt, Winters, Twenty and I can keep going for a while but you should realize yourself who the quality admins are from the kicked list. And no, its not because they are in my clan or are my friends cause ElMartu just left WS, I've never been best friends with nexxt, and I dont even know twenty in person. I name them because I know their Admin Qualities. I hope you, the ones who made this rushed decision, understand my concern and maybe considder taking back those who do have the required skill. I doubt you will but please, try to listen to the people. And dont trash this topic please, I think everybody should be allowed to give their opinion on cases like these. And if you ignore this all, no problem, I just hope you are aware of what has really happened here + maybe you could give the victims a real reason for picking them instead.
