About brackets... if you/your friends wana use brackets, go ahed... but dont leaern it new ones its NOT an RP rule, atleast not on Argonath.

I'll just go ahead an agree on this. I was taught and told to use brackets by regulars here a long time ago. I started using them because I thought that it was the correct way to roleplay. I know better now but I still use brackets, but only because I am to used to them. I use them automatiacally now. I do not encourage people to use them like I was encouraged and told, and I believe no one else should either.

Na, no need for that.
Those who actually have something against brackets and so on should maybe realize that it's teached here at argo, even when I started two-three years ago, it was here.
Now it has expand a lot, I seriously feel kinda odd when someone is not using it, as it is that usual.

I don't even know why people are bothering so much about it. Everyone is different.

Teach him how to roleplay then. They wont learn until you show them.

If you don't want to roleplay that means you are bored...so why not leave the server and let others enjoy the game ?

I will give an example based on my statement.If you dont know my job is to rob players.I call them,setup a meeting place and then i will get into action.I always carry a shotgun with me.So...few days ago i was ingame looking for someone to rob.I see an advertise like : Selling name of the car price 200 k.Phone:xxxxxx.
I call the guy i tell him i want to buy his car with 200k,he is happy about that,we setup a meeting place(usually at Lighthouse,Los Santos) and then he comes with his car.Then after a little chat i tell him there's a minor problem then he asks what's the problem then i tell him like that THIS IS A ROBBERY THAT's THE PROBLEM GIVE ME YA MONEY NOW OR I SHOOT pointing my shotgun at him.Then the player enters his car and leaves,or it tells me that he doesnt want to roleplay,others tell me im DM(LOL).Usually 9 out of 10 happens like that because there is only ONE reason : PEOPLE ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY THEY FORGOT ABOUT FRIENDS AND ROLEPLAY.And for me that is time loose and I dont want to loose time with someone unable to roleplay.Now I am sure you will come and say : But you rob people for money.Yeah I rob people for money but I get like few hundred dollars.Once I got 7000 $ and some time ago I got 25 $.And i use those money to buy weapons to rob again.I keep the spirit of roleplay alive.I don't own a car or a house.Atm i have only 2 k in the bank.

So people....Don't want to ROLEPLAY ? then GTFO

There is no need to teach others to use brackets.
If someone asks you, then tell it is something that is not needed, just you are used to it. The guys who were trying to enforce the use are long gone...

I use brackets, i was learned to use them here, i learn my new members what is it, and teach them to use it in Gvardia roleplay.
Why? Cause we prefer that kind of role play, although its not even close to the word "strict role play", which i personally dislike. If they do not like the way we role play, no one gonna force them to, and if they cant stand it, they are free people, who can chose alone, which group or way of role play they prefer.

People moaning about no role play on server all the time,  and they just dont realize all they got to do is this :

If people doesn't roleplay, hang out with the kind of people that is up for roleplay, try to avoid the people that does not roleplay, make something good of it.

I would edit this and say: If people does not wanna be part of your kind of role play, find people who got similar taste, and you will have more then enough fun on server.

I've noticed that since i've been back there is a serious lack of roleplay , people just are not roleplaying , for example today i saw 1 cop dming other cop's , criminals randomly shooting people, you pull someone over and there like wtf you want , when your trying to roleplay
