HELP ME

There are 4 ways to fix this...
-Firstly, contact your ISP, (the guys you pay your internet bill to) make them run a diagnostic test to make sure if it's their or your fault...

-Make sure you don't have any programs you don't need to have open (especially those in the tray) that can use your internet connection, like updaters and multiple firewalls.

-Go to Run in Start Menu, type msconfig. Go to the Services tab and check "Hide all Microsoft services". click disable all.(This may disable your firewall and some unimportant background stuff that's going on so I suggest you look through the list and enable those you want to be running)

-Reinstall windows, but before you do that, make sure you have the instalation key if your windows are genuine...If you don't, google, there's a way to find your key in the registry...

Not all servers will run as fast as your download speed. Try downloading something from Microsoft (Halo Trial would be downloading at 1-3mb/s from Microsoft DL Servers). If it achieves that, then it's most proberbly not a slow interwebz connection

Try speedtest.net, pick city close to yours and let it see if your internet is slow, or if the place where you download stuff has limits..

If shows the same result - Check the posts above.
