I am going to start buying Components to build my own computer but what kind of tower case should I get?

Full Tower
ITX
Mid Tower
Mini ATX

Like what does it mean? I need one that will support just about any kind of motherboard I can put in it.

ATX
Mini-ITX

These mostly mean about case size, alignment, slots etc. and ATX is something about better cooling system.

I built my own computer about aa week ago, so heres my best shot at helping.

Full tower - is a full nono, you dont have enough money to spend on stuff to put in it.

ITX - Honeslty ive never heard about it, i google'd it with google pictures and most of them look small, that wont hold any type of Mother Board, unless your trying to build a home computer with a tiny mobo, instead of a gaming rig.

MID TOWER is what your looking for, it will hold all your needs for a gaming rig.

My tower is a "Cooler Master 922" and boy is it amaizing, three fans come with the case that run nice and quiet. There is a fan in the front that has LED's that light up red with a push of the button on the case. And the easy PUSH BOTTON optical drive installation (CD drive) unlike others that require screws. And it has bumpers to keep the MOBO off the wall. I would DEFINITLY reccommend it. My stuff is never ever overclocking or heating up with..

AMD Phenom II X4 (quad core) 3.2GHz
4GB DDR3 Kingston ram 1336Mhz
Windows 7 64 bit
Some old optical drive
500GB hd
Nvidia GTS 250 video card

& I can run GTA:IV all day, minimise it in a miliseccond, go on the internet, and go on SA-MP at the same time ;)

Do you have any Computer USA's near you? http://www.compusa.com/ you can go to the store, and the store will buy the case for you and have it shipped to you for FREEEEEEE. Thats what I did for a few of my parts, i had it shipped to me hence they did not have it in store. If you dont have any Comp usa's near you (use the website store finder) then let me know, ill give you a few more suggustions if youd like.

You can get your own case however always keep in mind LOOKS dont matter, you dont need pretty LED's, you want a case with alot of ventalation, and many fans. My computer runs quiet as quiet can get with GTA:IV running.

GTA IV is not any top game.... try Far Cry 2 on Ultra High.. it needs graphic card even better than GTA IV... I also run both of those I listed here on ultra high (iv; max settings)...

as for the case... Full Tower/Midi Tower if your Motherboard's big....  else a Mini.
