This topic is me explaining that we need a change in our community. I'm speaking of SA:MP only.
It started since June 2007 when I first stepped foot into Argonath. Money was SO easy to make (Please read as im not speaking out getting money easier). There were so many friendly people and so much role play involved and it was probably the best time that came. Now late 2008-2009; Wow, what a change. It has really changed in the sense of so many people fight and just go CRAZY about money. I've seen it all. Ive seen people literally FIGHT over money, lose friends over money, get banned for moaning, get taxed for "paydays". It just doesnt make sense. The money is corrupting people in Argonath. Realize, that Argonath RPG is made for you to make new friends, have fun, role-play, and overall have a blast. People dont realize what roleplay is anymore because of the money. Do you see that people pay like 4 million dollars for a car? Im not saying get rid of money or anything, just STOP thinking about money so much. I hear "omg i just lost 1000", "omg i missed a payday". Really guys?

Its stuff like this that makes people think theyre on top. EVERYone is equal. Doesnt matter how much money you have.
The only thing you need is imagination, pride, happiness, and /me.
Nothing else.
I did a test before. I placed an /ad saying "Im leaving Argonath, giving away 600k.
I got flooded by pm's. But not saying "Why..why". But "OMG GIVE IT TO ME, I NEED THE MONEY". Only my friends had enough heart to ask why I'm leaving.

So please Argonath SAMP, I'm asking you; please dont only think of money. Itl make more friends, less argument, less moaning, and more FUN.

And please leave arguments aside in this conversation and just follow what I am trying to say.

Well thats not the problem, the thing Driggz is trying to say is people get too hyper over money, they lose 1k, they spam the main chat box...

Someone should get rid of all the moaners.
I wish SAMP was like VC, where its FUN when there is a DM breakout, and have to work together and defend yourself.
Now in SAMP, a DM connects and the chatbox gets spammed by: DICKHEAD I LOST 100K AWMAGAWD BANBANBANBANBANBANBAN I DID REPORT A MILISECOND AGO AND ADMINS NO RESPOND TO LAZY AWMAGAWD!

Players have ALWAYS been after money, since day one of MTA:VC!!! Stop trying to paint an image of this server going to hell, because it isn't. The things you are describing has happened in the past with every server at every time just like now.

Actualy, in argonath server i have never thinken about money cos if i do 1 wrong choice then i get banned or just cops will kill/jail and take that money away. So i have always thinken about fun cos i know that i always lose my money, so i escape from cops. And for now i think more to my job and getting unbanned then argonath money, this is just a gaming money, i can understund if it would be a real money. And i get the point of this what he wants to say.

..I still dont get why everyone is moanning about everyone wanting money only, no rping, were such a horrable RP server and sh*t.

I love our server, and I honestly think argonath is a great rollplay server, sure theres lots of people who are obsessed about money but so what. Theyll make 20M and by the time they do theyll quit. Nobody cares why they quit, theyre just happy they got some money off of em. So leave the richie rich players alone, I was one of those people before I left and came back to argonath a better person, and now I walk into a casino and bet every dollar I have just to see if I can doubble my money. If i loose, oh well, that just means imma go have to make some money again.

 THINK ABOUT IT: You dont NEED money to live on argonath. Its pretty damn fun to live as a criminal, and you dont need a dollar to do it. Youll be -50000$ but still, itll be fun?

Players like gandalfscat (Roman) and Emilio_Corleone. SURE there rich but they come out and share it to us with little minilottos, events, quizzes and stuff.

LEAVE IT ALONE, you dont want our server to be one of those rp servers where you go out make 50k selling guns to people who are gonna go DM cops, and then getting DM'ed yourself, getting raped to death injail, then having to wait 10 mins on a waiting screen to be "Healed" in the hospital, then find out you gotta pay that 50k for hospital fees.

NOANY MOANNING.

I liked the 2008 more, then we didn't have so many moaners and freecops who would deathmatch

I even saw something like that in this years December. All I am trying to say to you people is, do not use that kind of thing as an argument, as Argonath have not gone worst with the years not SAMP nor any other server. But why does it feel such a way for some.... I let you figure it out yourselves.
