BRIEF INFORMATION
58th Street Conecta is a Hispanic role-playing group that was made in January, 2010. We are previously known as South Side Conecta, commonly abbreviated as "SSC". It was formed by numerous Argonath Veterans which are known as prestigious role-players. Our main idea with the group is to be a prominent and a very erratically role-play faction, that will be distinguished and noteworthy as the best role-playing group of all times. We have necessarily changed our guide lines and will no longer accept every single individual. We want our members to behave with an incandescent attitude; we will also have zero tolerance against any bullying or disrespecting of other community members or groups. We want our members to be amused and satisfied within the group, we will be extremely finicky when it comes to pick individuals among the large swarm in future.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Member recruitment is loosely based on the "homeboy connection," an informal, long-standing relationship between the recruit and an active gang member. After this connection is established and made known, a "background check" is performed by unit chairmen, who look into the prospective member's history to ensure he has no prior law enforcement or informant connections. If he passes this test, a unanimous vote will determine his acceptance into the organization. Once he passes the organization test we will be tested in a so-called loyalty test, where he has to prove himself a worthy member of the Conecta. This scenario can take up to weeks, depending how the individual progressively expand his knowledge about the gang, also how he builds up his own reputation within the gang.

GOLDEN RULES
In order to join the group, one must have a pleasing control of the English language and be acquainted with the modus of Mexican role-play. Furthermore, there is an application which does also mean that you are obligated to get in contact with us through role-play fashion after writing the application. We consider punctuation something important and will not tolerate any misusage of it, or any similar matters. You should be able to use the punctuation systematically without having any sort of issues with it. If you decide to contact us through role-play, you should know about this. It's extremely important to read through the brief information and the golden rules before you decide to join.

OUR OPINION
Our group does not straightly back the terms "IC", "OOC", "Metagaming" or "Powergaming", but we expect our members to know how to differentiate a situation to be role-play or out of role-play, having a rather fitting gang-banger character, knowing how to express emotions physically and be generally realistic while role-playing in order to experience fun.

RANKING SYSTEM Jefe -Has full knowledge of gang activities and provides leadership to the group. They are the most essential and influential component to the gang. Shotcaller -They are a veteran of gang life and committed to the gang lifestyle. Believes in total loyalty to the gang which constitutes their total identity and therefore is what they most value in life. General -Rarely employed and sometimes involved in drug sales. Spends the majority of their time with other gang members. Observing the lower ranked. Capitan -Their most valuable role is to show themselves prominent and to watch/teach the soldados to become better. Soldado -Believes in loyalty and unity in the gang, but will leave loyalty behind when self-preservation becomes an issue. Has some knowledge of gang activities. Pee-Wee -Has little understanding of what the gang stands for or of gang activities. Doodles gang insignias and logos and commits acts of graffiti vandalism.

SURENO DRESSING Surenos adhere to strict dress codes. A common Sureno "uniform" consists of khaki pants with sharp creases ironed down the front of each leg, a white T-shirt worn under a plaid flannel shirt, and a bandana. The way the clothing is worn varies with the individual.  Surenos openly wear their signifying clothing. The styles the Sureno display include: Baseball hats -Blue, also Professional sport teams logos worn towards one side or backwards. Bandanas -Worn on the head, tied to a belt loop or sticking out of a pocket. Shirts -White T-shirts worn under plaid shirts, worn open or button only at the collar.  Polo type knit shirts (oversized) and not tucked in. White athletic type undershirt.  Pants/Shoes -Oversized Jeans or pressed Khakis. Pants worn low, or "sagging" and cuffed inside at the bottom or dragging on the ground. Cut off under-the-knee, short pants worn with knee-high socks A predominance of dark or dull clothing. Blue Shoelaces Baggy, oversized boxers showing.

11. Thou shall not hate, but congradulate then participate.
12. Thou shall punk/check/kill a leva ass norte bad girl.
13. Thou shall respect the mighty South.
