Same here. Argonath has vastly improved my English vocabulary and personality. Argonath helped me overcome many hardships I had in my life and it continues doing so.

DONT PRESSURE ME IM RETARED
The entire reason we have Hydra/Hunter on the server is because cops don't know how to work together. Sadly

SA:MP servers actually run beautifully on a server with 512mb RAM. Though if servers run plugins, the amount can be used up. Just like Kye's(SA:MP Creator) plugin 'MapAndreas' uses 70MB RAM and all it does is detect where a building or where the ground is from the X and Y co-ordinate the player is at. He worked is so hard to be fast that it comes around the 20 - 30 ms mark of execution. Maybe even faster.

We are with you Gandalf..

It allows Aliens to take over your computer and watch space porn.

The Argonath Community has become a second family, where we are all, mostly, friends. A lot of good friends that are dear to me have been made, who are always there for you, and will support you when needed. Argonath has grown beyond any expectation which could've possibly been thought of which has made it such a unique community to be part of and enjoy. The work that has gone into Argonath is just astonishing as it has continued to create and improve on many aspects which makes it so valuable to many members who have been in this community for a long time or even those who have recently joined and have come to like Argonath.

Argonath may have had its up and downs through the years but it has always been there to make friends and have fun when your bored.

Long live Argonath.

MTA:VC might be our birthplace, but the cold hard fact is. The software itself is way to old and outdated to be of any interest to new players.

You may script as much as you want, but the software needs to adapt to the future, which it can't thanks to MultiTheftAuto itself is not updating it/will not update it.

Honestly, in my opinion the MTA:VC server should be shut down. It might be fun for the oldschools to play on, but it won't attract new players in the way it needs to to be really active.

If you guys really want mta:vc to breath strong once again, you need to talk to the original developers and ask for the source code. Otherwise I see no future in mta:vc.

Life has been a fucking hell recently, including accepting what has happened to me in the past. Dunno if life will ever get better but at the least I'm still hanging on. Lol.

I can't believe how many times it will need Sugar to repeat the same message over and over...

I'm extremely grateful for the ongoing efforts into the Argonath community. We have seen vast improvements in processes from top level down which have greatly increased quality control throughout. Despite financial woes as a result of the credit crisis in 2009. Please rest assured that our community are behind their leaders in paving forward a new generation of humour, enjoyment and gratitude.

It's clearly time to exhaust all opportunities of strength within the community and perhaps introduce new policies which bear close to the Argonath vision. We may want to closely analysis our competitors to see whether we are maximising the impact of our community to its effectiveness. This may help offset the current expenditure.

We may also want to consider closing down non-core operations which may be deemed exploitable or resource draining. For example, sub-communities such as VC:MP or MTA:VC should be reviewed, restructured or perhaps closed down in a effort to shore up strength in core assets such as SA:MP.

Close down SA:MP :D. Thats costing the most. MTA:VC with it's 26 slots is shit cheap.

Gandalf, I thank you for bringing so many people into friendship and meetings.
The real heros aren't presidents or soldiers there out on the field, it are the people like you, that keep people in contact and help them being social. You inspire me. :)

A server is no good if it doesn't bring in new players. As simple as that.

Argonath started on MTA, I don't think they intend to end its legacy any time soon.

You know, new players always show up on MTA:VC, even though it's nothing compared to the ASE times...
The problem is that new players don't have any regulars to play with since 99% of them left to other Argo servers...
These new players join server, no one experienced there, they leave.
Last time MTA:VC got really active was in November/December, guess who made it active in first place? a few new players.

About the talk of shutting down MTA:VC... Well, we already went through that last year, fortunately it was decided not to be done.
But, if one day main devs have to do it, who am I to say otherwise?

I'm thankful to you guys for giving us the opportunity to play in such amazing community. Month after month.
Argonath is my second home, it's where I first come to when I have free time.

I'm also thankful to some loyal MTA:VC players like Zaila, Trobby and Grzesiek, who are always there helping on server activity.

MTA:VC, the real meaning of fun

Duuh.

Well I wish the old MTA:VC players would stay on the server, not just go in - no one there - leave immediately. The server is so empty because ASE is down, but also because the players have abandoned it.

Play for fun and friendship, not for stats or achievements.
If you do not want to roleplay, log off. Remember that "do not force RP" does NOT mean you can refuse to interact with other players.
