Bioshock and Fallout are two very different games. But the reason I am posting this is because both Bioshock and Fallout have the same theme. Which is like a 50's retro theme.

Some people might say "Why would you even compare the two games."

Bioshock definitely beats Fallout.
-The gameplay of Bioshock is insane, its so well put.
-The storyline. There is NO game out there who made a storyline so complex, fantastic, and twisted. On EACH character in the game, and not only audio voices, there is a story behind them. Each object has something behind it.
-It might be an action game, but its still kind of scary and gets you a lot a of suprises in the game.
-The storyline is so great, that there is a film that is going to be developed.
Visit http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/BioShock_Wiki
it gives you every single little detail about every single thing, and person in the games.

Fallout-
-Yes it is a pretty cool game, if your into RPG type games where its hard to even fight a battle. I just find the game boring, with a boring storyline. A war goes off and you need to find your dad.
Ok.
-Maybe I have not gave the game a chance? I dont know, maybe Ill play Fallout:New Vegas....
But Fallout 3 was not fun.

So Bioshock wins for me.

What are your guys opinions?

Well, yes, I'm gonna say it: the two games shouldn't really be compared, as they are both different games.

If you're an RPG fan, then you're most likely going to love Fallout. If you're a FPS fan, then you're going to prefer Bioshock.

However, Fallout wins for me.

I'm speaking about the themes, in which is a way you can compare the two games

I haven't played either, but my English teacher's husband designed Bioshock - so I'll go with that one.

Fallout series. I love the mad max atomic wasteland theme, I can't help it.

Didn't like Bioshock that much really.. But my character really came to life in Fallout. I felt like the character that I was playing was me and I couldn't do bad things and not carry those kind of guns etc

Fallout wins, it was made in 1997 and pwns all games in the same genre
Fallout 1 - Rocks
Fallout 2 - Rocks
Fallout 3 - Rocks

But my character really came to life in Fallout. I felt like the character that I was playing was me
Exactly + find ur dad is part of the main quest, but the wasteland is so big and loaded of quests... + Fallout is full of characters, of factions, of creature, of histories.. it's way more immersive then Bioshock
1 day u wake up, nuke up a city, kill mutants, the other day u destroy a raider base...
War....war never changes...

I haven't actually played Bioshock but I'm getting it soon. As far as my opinion on Fallout 3: What a great game. There's no other words for it- Simply fantastic!
