2012 has nothing to do with this.It's just a physical phenomenom.By the way the scientists estimated that this earthquaked used x1000 times more energy than Haiti's.I predict a tsunami will hit Hawaii soon,maybe California too.

I was sitting on the beach waiting for it lol, they predicted it wrong and it's coming later then when i was there :(

This is unreal... 6.0 mag+ earthquakes in durations of 2 months period. The plates are really goin at it...

I got confused today. My town registered a 4.5 quake, but it was an amplified shockwave from a rock quarry. It set off all car alarms within a 10 mile radius! :D And it toppled over my Xbox 360 and made it destroy a disk!  :mad:

I'd thought that it was from Chile.
