Extreme disappointment in the SA:MP community

I can't believe what has happened to Argo lately. CBFasi felt nice and decided to test out how users would act with new motorcycles, FD Federal Ranchers, and additional vehicles in SA:MP that were not previously allowed. He also made anyone able to drive them to test out how users would act with these new privileges of freedom. After what I woke up to this morning, I'm very pissed at how things turned out. Users abused the living **** out of these new-found rights. The FD ranchers being removed was a personal pain for me to wake up to this morning as well. I briefed my official ARFD members and a few Volunteer FD users on their use. Every single one of them followed it. Every other user decided instead to abuse the **** out of them and instead paint them black and pretend to be FBI. After all that I have seen, it makes me wonder why I even bother to better a community anymore that turns great roleplay opportunities around to abuse them instead. The scripters did an amazing job and worked very hard on these changes and you guys couldn't even handle them for a single day. Something needs to change. This is ****ing outrageous.

Well anyways, as far i know people went around impersonating the FBI in the ranchers.... And then, they moaned because they got suspected for impersonating...  :roll:


Anyways, the new vehicles (such the bikes) were awesome and i had fun driving a PCJ... some people only went around following CBF and annoying him to see if he spawned more bikes.... Or annoying other players with the new cars  :poke:

It was more than the few people. 90% of the abuse came from regular users that play in the server every day.

They were fun, but the issue was that users took everything out of hand and ruined it for the rest of us. The FD had been hoping and begging for those ranchers for a VERY long time and over the course of one night, the non-FD users managed to ruin that for us.

I'd love to see them back with some restriction, but it's ridiculous that the scripters have to add any in the first place. This is out of control...

Impersonating FBI sounds like pure RP, might be abit PG but you can make it in a mild way

The real question is why not restrict them.

Sadly people in this server cannot accept that there were FD vehicles, not ment for random dumbasses comming and pretend to be FBI.

I had a long discussion with a dev over it. They are tired of taking their own time to restrict things constantly like that, not to mention they want to try and open things up for users, not restrict them. After yesterday though, I'm doubting they will consider that again...

The fire department Federal Ranchers will be brought back to the server, but with restrictions so that only firemen can drive them

Also, due to the abuse of players, there is a chance that players will lose the ability to paint a car which doesn't belong to them

No disrespect to anyone, but its true, and everyone knows it, its just a minority who are not scared to say it, but when I say "samp" I mean the players of it, not the client. Even though I know some SA:MP players who are different from the majority.

Stop complaining, Please. Your just getting on peoples nerves and truthfully, ''SA:MP Community'' isnt even meant right. It should be the Argonath Community.

You think that your helping the situation by complaining and moaning? Wern't you one of the people who said to stop moaning, and wern't you the admin who kicked people for moaning?
