As some of you might have already encountered, the Argonath owners have decided to enhance the leaders team by adding two people.
With Argonath nearing its 4th birthday, we have decided that we need to create some changes in the overall structure and leadership.
These are made in order to strengthen the leadership, make it less dependent on single persons and less time consuming for all. Argonath has always given chances to players to show their qualities in many different fields, and the object is to continue to do this, as well as expanding in to the future.
The changes that we will make are going to be in two fields.
1. SA:MP leadership: we have added two people with high skills and proven dedication to our leaders team in order to be able to move forward faster
2. Financial : we are aiming to make the community self-supporting, so we can use our funds for further improvement and future projects.
SA:MP leadership:
The objectives are
1. Building an active and strong management, in direct contact with the administration and SA:MP community.
2. Creating an exchange between the players, administration, scripting team and leaders regarding the current and future development of the SA:MP game mode
3. Continuing to build and enhance the Argonath vision of playing ,and to develop a structure where all groups and players have equal chances in game.
4. Giving a direction to new developments and the future of the community and its surroundings.
Financial:
1. Creating a transparent picture of donations and expenses, for the benefit of the community
2. Maximizing the opportunities for income of advertising
3. Giving the players the possibility to contribute to the income without having to spend money, and gaining additional benefits
4. Creating a line of merchandising products to both support the community and create a stronger bond.
As the owners are having to divert their attention to their private lives, and this will be prevalent in the near future, we have added two people to the SA:MP leaders. The first is one of the long-standing admins and scripters, [Rstar]Xcasio/Gimli.
The second has been chosen due to his involvement as a player in some projects, and his proven management skills. While new to the management level, he has already earned the trust of a number of players by his in-game skills, and we hope that he can show his professional skills and dedication by giving him this chance. We welcome Frank_Hawk/Nazgul.
Gimli will, thanks to his experience with Argonath, continue to handle the technical issues, where as Nazgul will look more to the enhancement and building of the community.
